Facepunch A forum full of smart and respectable gentlemen
So i will start it off.. My invention and contribution to technological advancement would be a collasal sized space shuttle-liner that would house atleast 10 Million beings of the human race. The reason for this is that we haven't yet found a way to reach other galaxies without breaking the laws of physics and taking hundreds of thousands of years to do so. In theory this ship will house the generations that will get to see the next planets in the other galaxies at a steady pace. Of course it will take thousands of years to get there but eventually we will be able to settle the human civilization somewhere other than the planet earth. I feel my invention would give hope for the expansion of the human race and to further our exploration into space and other galaxies.
Also, fast threads. (User was banned for this post ("Replied just to say wrong forum" - Benji))
Looks like a normal spoon, right? Wrong. It is actually a deadly 2.5" half-smooth, half-serrated knife with tactical grip. One minute you are enjoying a bowl of cereal, and the next you are fighting off attackers with this deadly and disguised weapon. At first glance, this looks like a normal party cup. However, if you look close enough, you will see that it is really a fully automatic Glock 18C. You will be able to pour your enemies a nice warm cup of lead with this fine purchase Still thirsty for justice? Try this badass M16A2 disguised as a 24-pack of soda. The box has two finely crafted holes on each side to allow for any kind of optics (not included) that you wish to attach. This weapon is only for sale if you have a Class III permit. This cleverly disguised weapon may look like a tissue box, but is actually a Benelli M3 12 gauge shotgun disguised as a tissue box. The ultra-soft quilted tissues serve as a comfortable grip on the pump-action shotgun. Also, if you find yourself sneezing during the heat of combat, you will have a handy tissue box ready for action. derp

Combo Washer/Dryer. It washes your clothes then drops them in a dryer which auto starts. Saves you the waste of time that is putting your wet clothes in the dryer.

Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you: Fast Threads A place where people can create for themselves threads like on any other section of Facepunch - but wait! Here's the exciting part; You can ask people to "Post Your" things and ask quick questions. Examples of threads you might make there are asking people how old they are, checking the date of a recent event or asking people to come up with their own inventions. I'll be rich! Wait, we already have that? Fuck. (User was banned for this post ("Replied just to say wrong section" - Benji))
you are a 13 year old retard
that was not only wrong but unnecessary. but thanks for trolling and contributing ignorance to my thread.
that was not only wrong but unnecessary. but thanks for trolling and contributing ignorance to my thread.
contributing ignorance to your thread where your solution to all earths problems is to put everyone in a space ship you are stupid and people thought that out way better than you did years ago try ringworld faglord
The Borange. Its only purpose would be to rhyme with orange. That is all.
Again, read the rules.
yeah I read them, but I don't feel like drawing anything ATM, plus I'd be shit at it anyways.

A sliding window. Like, the wall slides, so you can slide the window across your wall to change the view.
A sliding window. Like, the wall slides, so you can slide the window across your wall to change the view.
Sounds awesome, but hard to make..
Throw your legs over your head and suck.
Glow in the dark paint.
Sounds awesome, but hard to make..
Make a wall, cut out a large portion of the wall going from wall to wall and about 3 feet in height, installed a window INSIDE of the wall with a joystick type controller to move it. Then encase the whole thing in glass and fill the 'tank' with a non-transparent liquid. The window moves will up against the glass so none of the liquid gets through to it, but it is still possible to move it.
Glow in the dark paint.
thats a good idea
A while ago I got super excited when I realised how I could combine earphones with those wind-up thingies people that work in offices and shit wear on their belts to make retractable earphones that wouldn't tangle in your pocket. Then I found that Sony already invented them.
I'd just make shit from games and movies like I'd have the war machine armour and just fly about shooting shit.
My sony Ericsson phone has a 5-way click wheel, similar to that like on a mouse, only you have 2 additional buttons if you shift the wheel left or right with your finger. so imagine this on a mouse. The 5-way click wheel is patented by sony, and it's really handy on the phone, you can fully operate it with a single finger. and i'm sure it'll be great for 3d modellers/ computer artists who can program the buttons, for example to split vertices, undo/redo, select tools or use it in internet browsing to cycle between tabs.

It's nothing new either. Edit: the 2 additional buttons work to side scrolling by default.
