Fans looking to take another trip into the terrifying world of Amnesia are going to have to wait a bit longer. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Frictional Games’ highly-anticipated sequel to the 2010’s horror classic is now set to release at some point later on in the summer.
Source: http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/06/05/amnesia-a-machine-for-pigs-delayed-again
You can however make good use of the weather outside...
Telling a gamer this is like telling a Doctor, "Go outside and forget about saving patients." It makes me cringe.
or i would accept it never releasing ever.
This is pretty old news.
Marty Sliva JUNE 5, 2013

This is pretty old news.
It's only late if someone else has posted it.
And I'm pretty sure it was posted about at the time.
It's only late if someone else has posted it.
I remember it having posted weeks ago on the news forum. Unless the game has been delayed twice.
Can't wait to see every Youtuber ever run it into the ground in a couple of days.

Next gen oculus rift release, obviously.
OH COME ON ! I WANT TO GET SCARED AGAIN :(
OH COME ON ! I WANT TO GET SCARED AGAIN :(
I can come break into your house in the middle of the night with a barbed-wire-wrapped baseball bat if you'd like.
but how will i make my money off of terrible face cam lets plays now (as a side note requesting the "let's run this into the ground" smiley in preparation)
i never really thought amnesia was scary, it's more about jumpscares than anything
i never really thought amnesia was scary, it's more about jumpscares than anything
...What. Have you even played the game? It was 95% atmosphere with a few jumpscares here and there. I was much more terrified when there WEREN'T any monsters trying to slice up my ass
A delayed game is eventually good but a rushed game is forever bad. So let's just wait.
i never really thought amnesia was scary, it's more about jumpscares than anything
How the fuck is it about jumpscares. You don't even see a single fuckin monster for the first 10 minutes of gameplay.
i never really thought amnesia was scary, it's more about jumpscares than anything
are you sure you were playing the right game amnesia is like the least jump-scary horror game I've played
Can't wait to see every Youtuber ever run it into the ground in a couple of days.
Days? YouTubers run games into the ground in a matter of hours now. I wouldn't be surprised if the developers gave someone like Pewdiepie early access to the game so he can beat everyone to the punch and flood the game with hype.
How the fuck is it about jumpscares. You don't even see a single fuckin monster for the first 10 minutes of gameplay.
Ten minutes? You don't even run into the first monster an hour in. There is a total of ONE jumpscare in the game. That guy sure as hell didnt play it. It's not what most people would expect horror to be but when you're the one playing it, it's on of the most surreal and amazing experiences, albeit terrifying as well.
The game wasn't even supposed to be a full size one, it was originally a little after project that snowballed into something big. They can take as much time as they want, I prefer it that way.
How the fuck is it about jumpscares. You don't even see a single fuckin monster for the first 10 minutes of gameplay.
The only time Amnesia felt remotely scary for me were the attempts at jump scares, which really wasnt often at all. Even though i dont find it scary, i still thought it was a pretty great game. Just hoping this next one bumps up the scariness a lot
It's only late if someone else has posted it.
He's later than shacknews. That's late as fuck.
I didn't know. I only found out about the new trailer a month ago.

Pewdiepie may have been a good provider of sales but he doesn't do that game justice in the slightest.
Not surprising at this point, given previous 'release dates'. That said, I can't imagine these delays going on any further than Halloween. After all, A Machine for Pigs was intended to be a Halloween release originally and failure to release it at that point is just adding insult to injury; at the earliest I forsee them pulling a Torchlight 2 and say "sometime in Summer". By that they meant literally the day before Summer ended.
