I bought an Ouya hoping it would be nothing like everyone says it is.
It was everything like everyone says it is.
I must say, that is an awful color choice for the console and controller.

Yes because this is a non-trivial matter.
Hmmm... I don't see "isn't shit" in the feature list for the updated model.

Guess that feature didn't make it in.

Aesthetics matter.

It's just a black box.
The controller looks a bit silly in black, but it's the least of the Ouya's problems.

Matt black is a very effective heat absorbent unlike silver which is one the least effective.
The reason why I'm stating this is that the OUYA has a physical design flaw regarding cooling. The console has only one exhaust for heat to effectively escape through and this is a vent underneath the console itself. This is problematic since the console obviously stands upright and covers the vent altogether. This has widely known to cause the console to overheat and degrade performance. A solution to this issue would be to place the console on its side thus exposing the exhaust. The solid black colour would just add onto the issue.
From what it looks like the new console itself hasn't changed much at all to help rectify this issue so this actually could be a non-trivial matter.

Amazing Frog > Wonderful 101
And it has the Walking Dead.

Amazing Frog is actually a brilliant game. As is no brakes valet parking.
In all honesty, what was everyone expecting out of a console that said. "We are bringing Android Games to the TV"?
Its the reason i didn't back it when i could..
There are alot of games on Android that are worthy of your time though, no doubt.

The best looking version of several GTA games is good, but a lot of the games I want to play on an Ouya are through an emulator like PPSSPP.

It's a really capable and enjoyable emulator platform.
An £90/$140 emulator platform.

I'll buy an Ouya once it runs LittleBigPlanet PSP and a few other near-perfectly.
