"Siebs food is worth going to jail for," according to a message posted Friday morning outside Sieb's Pub on Babcock Boulevard.
The message was the pub's response to the arrest of Sean Faulkner, 39, who police said ordered a Reuben sandwich about 1 p.m. Sunday and then left without paying, trying to make his escape in a stolen forklift.
Faulkner drove the forklift two miles to Siebs Pub after taking it from a construction company on McKnight Road, police said.
He told police the keys were left in the ignition of the vehicle. He was not employed with the company and did not have permission to operate the folklift, police said.
He is being charged with theft of the forklift valued at $45,000—a felony—as well as theft of the food and receiving stolen property.
The sign outside Sieb's was the inspiration of the owner of the pub, said manager Karie Donatelli.
She thought it was both funny and might help answer the questions she was fielding from customers, Donatelli said.
"Everyone was wondering why the news was here," she said. [/quote]

Just had dinner there and that's how I found out.
Sounds like something from GTA or saints row
Jesus fuck that article is written poorly
I want to chastise him for it, but all I can really think to say is "Well done."

Definitely. Good food, good service, and they even have a food challenge for a 2lb burger+16oz beer in 45 minutes. It also made me explode in my toilet. STILL WORTH IT.
