Hi everybody!
I have a problem: every now and then my PC freezes when I'm playing games (but not with all games), and here's what happens: I'm just playing normally, everything is OK, but then suddenly the comp freezes and I can't do ANYTHING but switch off the power. Here's a pic what it looks like when it happens:

Otherwise I would just see the Event Viewer to figure out what's wrong, but since I can't access it because the comp freezes (duh), I can't get the report from what's really causing the problem. Instead of getting it, I just the errors from hitting the switch, making my PC almost like not even notice that it freezes.
So, I'm not sure what causes the problem, but my suspicion says that my video card, NVidia GeForce GTX 465, is to blame, possibly because of memory of a memory related problem or it simply overheating.
Now, if someone has here has dealt with this or similiar problem before, please do help me out, it would be much appreciated!
Looks like artifacts, AKA your GPU is dying.
Definitely looks like your GPU protesting.
And what does that mean? And what could I do to fix it, if there is any way to fix it that is... Or should I just upgrade to a better video card?
PS: I should also mention that I do tend to max out the graphs, however I don't see how even Minecraft can cause this problem, but it does.

Minecraft is a terribly optimised game. Don't use it as any kind of indicator.
It sounds like it's just overheating. What are the temps?

The idle temps are uninteresting. You need to check what the temps are during load. Try running MSI Afterburner (or other software that can continuously log temps during play), or use benchmarking software like Furmark to test the stability of the GPU.

I checked the temps while I had Dungeon Defenders running, but I'll try that Afterburner.

I don't know if it's too obvious or not, but you naturally want to make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card (and everything else), too.
Right then, the Afterburner says that the GPU temperature was at 72 Celsius while playing TF2, and while playing Dungeon Defenders, it went up to 77C. I also made a log so if you guys need it/want, I'll upload it if you need it.
And yes, the drivers are up to date, + this problem has bothered me for quite some time anyway, so it can't be because of the drivers. Although I admit I would have been happy if it was just a driver issue...
