I can get my 720 running at 3.3 Ghz 1.4v stable but when I go for 3.4 Ghz at 1.425v it crashes after 2 hours in prime95. Supposibly, the safe voltage is 1.425v for the 720 so I'm unsure if I should push it to 1.450v . Is there anything else I need to change like FSB to get it to 3.4 Ghz stable without pushing it +.050v ? Temps are no worry. I idle 28C and get 35C on load on stock cooling.
I have mine at 3.4 ghz on stock voltage. I think yours is too high.

Yeah, can only get 3.2Ghz with 1.375v . Tried stock voltage and it restart my computer within the hour of prime95. Tried 1.350 and it restarted after like 4 hours of prime95.
Maybe your mobo or ram is holding you back?
Yeah, better mobo usually means you can overclock higher, and some RAM doesn't work too great for overclocking. Cooling matters too.
