Just days after holding a rally in Washington, Tea Party activists returned Saturday to make one final stand against the health care reform bill ahead of an expected Sunday vote. Thousands of Tea Partiers descended upon the Capitol in an effort to derail the march toward "Obamacare" by pressuring undecided lawmakers to vote "no" Sunday. At times protestors broke into chants of "Kill the bill!" More than 60 Tea Party affiliates organized the event in the four days since Tuesday's rally after organizers were flooded with requests to hold another one for those who couldn't take off of work for the first one. Saturday's event featured actor Jon Voight, Reps. Mike Pence, R-Ind., chairman of the House Republican Conference, Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and Steve King, R-Iowa. Fuck wrong thread
What the hell, 300 years after the rule of the British empire and there are still tea parties? What a joke.
It's going to pass anyway.
Relevant
I love these videos. It shows how much people just believe and repeat everything they hear on the news, and never look into it on their own. aka Fox News. Also:
Activists. Just a few years ago the same group of people would have scoffed at the word.
They're beat on this issue, let them continue showing their ignorance and making idiots of themselves.
They're beat on this issue, let them continue showing their ignorance and making idiots of themselves.
I can't say they'll go away. With the current state of the bill essentially being "we'll 'regulate' costs but all of you have to get insurance" will get more and more people onboard the train.
they are so noble
How many teabaggers are there in total? Like 2000 in the entire country?
How many teabaggers are there in total? Like 2000 in the entire country?
Yeah, most play HALO
They have a fucking elephant? The economy is poopy and they go and get an elephant for like a one day or less protest? [editline]06:21PM[/editline] Oh what the hell a parade of elephants? [editline]06:27PM[/editline] I also like how the only people at the protest are white people. And the majority are old
Fine! Die then! Die of every disease known to man at once you STUPID BASTARDS!
:wtc:
Oh my god that video is horrible. Those people are so stupid. They get asked a simple question and they can't answer it. They just get fed retarded shit from fox news
Fine! Die then! Die of every disease known to man at once you STUPID BASTARDS!
People who can afford coverage get the best healthcare in the world. People who live in countries with universal healthcare get shitty coverage and have to wait weeks for things. People don't realize this. I mean, I want everybody to be insured but we shouldn't fuck up a good system just for a small group of people (15%, most of them are illegal immigrants to be painfully honest)
God help us if this bill passes.
god help us if this bill passes.
obama is the devil, socialism socialism socialism!!!!!!!!!!!
God help us if this bill passes.
we have a black president god is dead
we have a black president god is dead
You are as arrogant and ignorant as the people you mock.
You are as arrogant and ignorant as the people you mock.
Really, and?
and
it stands against everything this country was founded on.
Looks like health care reform just isn't their cup of tea.
it stands against everything this country was founded on.
No it doesn't. Karl Marx wasn't even alive when this country was founded. And there are plenty of aspects of social policy that are completely compatible with the Constitution. There several aspects of socialist policy that defy Constitutional Law, but the entire philosophy is not the polar opposite of America's founding principles.

We don't have shitty healthcare, in fact, we have healthcare that rivals yours. Oh, wait... Why would you ever admit that? The system as it is is not good.
Wrong. We don't have shitty healthcare, in fact, we have healthcare that rivals yours. Oh, wait... Why would you ever admit that? The system as it is is not good.
That's irrelevant, our proposed reform is nothing like your current system.
