So I"m completely new, what the cheapest camera set up I can get in which I can take decent photos? I don't want to edit them either....

If you aren't going to do editing you will get nicer results with a film camera. It will be difficult to do digital photography with no editing.
Film is the best medium. I plan on buying an Canon F1. I'm just too lazy to put money in my paypal. :v:
