If this is for gaming, you'd be much better off getting intel processors. AMD FX chips have terrible single-threaded performance, which make them suffer in a lot of games that aren't multi-threaded properly. The games that are multi-threaded usually perform the same on both AMD and intel, making a performance/price comparison moot. The Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM drives perform better than WD blacks and cost less. There's essentially no reason to pay more for the Black drives. There is no reason to get a Gold rated powersupply as the money you spend on it most likely won't be "earnt back" for as long as you use it. Corsair's CX600M is cheaper and still modular. I'm guessing you forced newegg as the merchant once you finished the list? Some of the parts are missing and not counted in the final total(the WD Black drive, the 7790) while some others are nearly twice the price(the Acer monitor). The prices are lower than what they're supposed to be and buying only from newegg makes it more expensive than it has to be. 1000$ build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2OYOY This build has a significantly better processor, a better harddrive, a better monitor, a better case, a slightly better motherboard, and it even includes an SSD while staying under budget(the difference between a harddrive and SSD is astronomical) Cheap: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2OZiy Don't get fooled by the price difference between the one in your post and this one. When counting the graphics card in your build, the price difference is barely 40 dollars. This one has twice the RAM, four times the harddrive space with a significant speed boost, a processor that is astronomically better for gaming, a slightly better GPU, and a better case.
