A Japanese live streamer accidentally burned 3 apartment blocks down while trying to test a new lighter he had just got. One woman was killed in the fire.
Starts around 4:46

What kind of retard leaves the lighter open so the liquid literally splatters everywhere WHILE TRYING TO LIGHT A FUCKING MATCH
holy shit, how can you be so stupid to light a match away from you?
Starts at 5:05. He burns himself a bit on the lighter wad, and quickly tosses it into the refuse pile behind him, which is incidentally full of paper.
Once he notices that, he also tosses the burning pile into another part of the room... which is incidentally full of paper and flammable materials.
The entire problem could have been contained if he just paid attention to where he was throwing stuff. Oh, and probably having a fire extinguisher.
He has the damn fire out, then pulls the damn mattress away.
Seriously???
Who the fuck tries to put out a fire with cardboard boxes.
Bring it to the sink or something instead of just throwing it in the corners of your room.
I wish there is more footage of the devastation this idiot caused.

Jesus, it's bad enough that Japan is rapidly depopulating itself into a barren wasteland, throw morons that think the solution to fire is cardboard on top of that and R.I.P.

it's a text to speech program that reads chat messages, it's fairly common on japanese streaming sites
also holy fuck this guy made literally all the wrong decisions

He fucking had it out multiple times then he would go fuck with it and fan the flames! So frustrating. Also that tiny bowl of water lol.
That was so bothersome to watch because the entire time it was so easily preventable to stop the fire from escalating.
How do you turn around and not notice the big ball of fire?
Then why do you proceed to put the burning bag of trash in a pile of more trash!,
Omg this makes my brain hurt

Exactly, and his reaction times to things are kind of worrying.
At first it looks like he puts it into a bin of paper or clothing. Then into a big pile of boxes, and then just tosses water on it like this was going to help. I would've risked the burns on my hands to get it into a sink or a tub, something that isn't so flammable.
How the hell did his computer keep running so long

I had a lipoly battery pop while my brother was charging it, I immediately put it into a pot and ran it outside, the thing turned into a flamethrower a minute after I got it outside
If something is on fire and its contained get it out of your goddamn house
It is a good instructional video on how not to react to a fire.
A user watching had to point it out and say "behind you" so he'd even notice it was burning
fucking hell man
5:20 - He takes the bag of paper that's on fire, so why didn't he just throw it out the window or something? I mean, do /ANYTHING/ with it other than put it into more flamable stuff.

Exactly. Lithium is dangerous on its own levels, like terrifyingly dangerous.
Who the fuck throws something on fire, and tosses it into a plastic bag with paper in it? And he is a smoker... just fucking wow.
Do we know if this guy had something wrong with him?, like, who throws *a fire* in the bin and expects that to be the end of it?.
This has also made me acutely aware of the fact i don't own my own extinguisher.
That was incredibly fucking eerie.
Poor woman, burning to death thanks to an autistic MC twat is not the greatest way to go.
EDIT:
Did he seriously open the window to feed oxygen to the fire? You fucking moron.
There has to be something wrong with him. No one is both that dumb and that calm.

Where does it say he has autism?
This could have been avoided several times, jesus christ. As for fire extinguisher, it was an apartment block, surely it's mandatory to have them somewhere in the building (I want to say one for each floor but that's maybe too much/too little). I can't believe he tried to put it out with a cardboard box, then he returned with such a small bowl of water after so much time and finally instead of trying to snuff the flame with the mattress by cutting the air he gave it more air with the bashing.
I hope he gets caught for being a giant idiot
fucking hell with the comedy of errors that he made you'd think he's done it on purpose.
Not onyl does he lgiht somethign flamamble around where all of his supplies are, the throws the match onto the cotton, throws the thing thats on fire right next to more flammable stuff. Fucking hell.
I make sure to do my refilling well away from anywhere there I'm going to light the damn thing.

Perhaps he has mental illness and the chat is giving him fucked up advise.
To be fair a lot of places do not train you in fire safety. At least in America, I haven't had one fire safety course in school that would prepare you for such an accident.
The guy probably panicked and had no idea what to do.
