• 5 second video - Explosion in After Effects

So I decided to see what I could do in After Effects. Other then the fact that the object doesn't move, looks like a toy (because it is) and kinda looks ridiculous because of the size difference with the flames and all, what could I/Should I improve? No thomas NO!!!! :argh: We can't help him anymore :crying:
There goes my childhood
It's quiet.
It's quiet.
Small explosions are quiet. Don'tcha know?
the explosion looks too high quality for the video imo
Yeah it's really good, but the explosion is to high quality for the video. If you could dim it down that would be really good.
Yeah, try to lower the quality of the flames and reduce the shake at the start and end, it's just too much IMO.
it felt like i was actually in the movie
Also too much depth in the explosion.
It's quiet.
I have some After Effects audio balancing issues.
the explosion looks too high quality for the video imo
It's a picture taken from my cellphone camera vs. a 720p explosion. Even when I re-sized it and added blur + noise it'll look too high quality. This won't get in the way once I get to making real movies.
If you could dim it down that would be really good.
Dim it down? As in turning down the exposure, or what?
Also too much depth in the explosion.
I don't really get this one either. Somebody fill me in here.
Damn, that looked awesome.
For how long did you knew AE when making this video?
Like, a couple of years maybe?
