Brutal new mobile phone footage has emerged of a 14-year-old girl being punched, kicked and taunted in Melbourne's south east.
The shocking new evidence was aired on Tuesday and further highlights the worrying extent of bullying among Australian teens.
The girl, who does not wish to be identified, is now too afraid to go to school after being attacked by a 16-year-old girl five times in the last six months.
In the footage, given to Nine News, the girl is seen being punched in the back of the head before being dragged along by her hair while a crowd of teens stand around filming.
"Do you think you're f---ing tough?" the bully is heard screaming.
A teenage boy eventually steps in to stop the attack but not before the girl is seriously hurt.
"I was coughing up blood and I couldn't see anything," she told Nine News.
The bullying began with taunts over Facebook from the 16-year-old, who does not go to the victim’s school, before the threats became physical.
Now the victim claims she has had glass bottles thrown at her head and her family has been threatened.
Police have interviewed the bully but the 14-year-old says nothing has changed.
"There's not much they can do because this girl doesn't go to school," she said.
The mother of the bully claims her daughter has been bullied too and that there are two sides to every story.
It's good that you did, most people still think bullying is just name-calling that people need to get over.
Wow, this is fucking stupid.
Should have (fucking overdark is a Grammar Nazi) done a Casey, or at least something.
They have it on tape but don't press charges.
:pwn:
I came into this thread expecting just another fight in Australia. I watched the video and when I seen her getting dragged I felt really sad :smith:
I'm curious as to what she did that provoked the her. I doubt this girl just decided to beat the shit out of her for no reason.

If you lived in Australia you would know that (most) Aboriginal teens have a tendency to start shit with anyone for no reason what so ever. But I agree with you, I'm curious as to what this was about.

Do you know what bullying is?

I would count that as racism or do you have any statistics to back that up :v:

Do you honestly think that these kind of people act rationally? They do it as a kind of dominance thing.
Maybe they should ban bullying.
Oh wait..

oh fuck you, nice excuse.
your daughter is probably like this because you beat her or some shit.
if someone did that to my sister I would beat the living soul out of them.

The bully probably lies. I bet she's like Eric Cartman too.
Stupid ignorant cunt.
The mother can say all she wants, nothing justified that attack.
Edit
Accent means people will say "Should Have" as "Should've", hence "Should Of"

So? I say things oddly all the time given that my dialect is strange but you'd never notice that through my typing.

He isn't blaming her race, it's the culture that has been given to her race that has caused it. It's like the African American gang culture

I imagine everyone has Microsoft Sam voice. :buddy:
[sp]lololololololololololololololololol my finger hurts now...[/sp]
In a lot of cases, I genuinely think a worse beating is the remedy to bully / such behavior, I honestly do, at least, it worked for me when someone did bully me for a while before I decided to answer back, I haven't been approached by assholes ever since then.
I bet it's about something as stupid as an ex-boyfriend or some shit like that.
"Yeah, let's kick the shit out of her because I'm a jealous bitch"
That's probably the other side to it, which doesn't justify a brutal beating like that.

It may remedy your specific problem, but the bully will only get angrier, more violent, and move onto someone else.

Its never been words, except for maybe pre-school up to second grade?
Then its like, "Poopy face" which just made me laugh as a child.

situations like this are the worst
if there is people watching, the bully would go for it and maybe increase the damage.
and holy hell, that bully needs to be charged n shit
"You didn't show half of the video! In that other half, the other girl called my daughter a bitch for bullying her and beating her up so much! That's bullying. My little angel was provoked." :downs:
Also, the bystander effect can go fuck itself.
As a victim of the same kinda thing, this hits so hard. You can still be charged even if the assault was provoked. And the problem there though is that while you're still under 18 you don't get any serious charges unless you do something SERIOUS.
Also what a 'young lady' hey. Repulsive.
