Yeah no we have a minimal wage for a reason, tipping is a courtesy here not something we do on demand and for services alone, we've never tipped for.
Also if you're an Uber driver, it shouldn't be your main source of income, it was never intended to be, its why they can get around the minimal wage because its a hobby platform, not an actual service.
I guess though its just a catchup on things as all of Uber's rivals already offer tipping, but knowing how shit goes here, people will be demanded to leave a tip when its not required.

Your response reads eerily similar to how conservatives in America say minimum wage doesn't need to be raised because "it's not intended to be a livable wage"
