House Intelligence Committee Republicans have completed a draft report in their year-long Russia probe that states they found no evidence President Trump or anyone affiliated with him colluded with Russian officials to affect the outcome of the 2016 election, a conclusion expected to incite backlash from Democrats.Republicans also determined that while the Russian government did pursue “active measures” to interfere in the election, it did not do so with the intention of helping Trump’s campaign, contradicting the U.S. intelligence community’s findings.
Unsurprising that republicans would declare that republicans did nothing wrong. now to wait for what Muller says
Let's see what the special counsel finds now.
Reminder that Devin Nunes was on the Trump transition team. He is a Trump agent who should've recused himself from all Trump-Russia matters but instead ran the House investigation into it. Nunes blocked the Democrats from calling dozens if not hundreds of witnesses to testify and blocked requests for evidence.
The whole investigation is a propaganda puppet show by one of Trump's fucking lackeys.
Now watch Republicans demand all other investigations stop after they determined nothing is wrong. I hope everyone else tells them to eat shit and reminds them of the seven investigations into Benghazi because Republicans wanted to find some reason to blame it on Hillary Clinton and decided they would anyways.
They didn't do any investigating for the entire year did they?
They didn't do any investigating for the entire year did they?
They spent most of their time accusing the FBI of conspiring against Trump.
In other words, 24/7/365 gaslighting the country without a trace of shame on Nunes' dumb fucking face.

This shit makes my blood boil. This is disgusting and I can't wait for the day the GOP pay for everything they've done to help cover Trump.
I can't wait for the day the GOP pay for everything they've done to help cover Trump.
Right now they are actively conspiring to avoid ever being held accountable for their actions.
Yeah, I trust their conclusion as confidently as I am about seeing a pig fly past my window in the next hour. I'll wait for the Mueller Probe to finish, thanks.
Devin Nunes is a traitor.
This is absolutely disgusting, that the GOP would attach themselves so hard to Trump just because of Obamacare repeal and tax cuts. If the Democrats have any spine, they need to hang this over the heads of people and never let them forget about this in future elections - not just in the midterms and the 2020 election, but further outward too.
How despicable and cowardly that they would do something like this for so petty a cause. Like, even if they impeach Trump, they still get Pence or Ryan - both of whom are more stable and also far more competent at pushing a far-right GOP agenda. It just makes no sense why it's Trump of all people they are tripping over themselves to protect.

Because if they don't try to protect Trump, they're going to be in prison with him sooner than later.
they fucking did it, those maniacs actually went and pulled the plug.
can't wait to see all the backlash this mid term season now. Take back the house, Lock'em all up!
It's one thing for the man who worked with the Trump transition team to say Trump did nothing wrong, it's quite another for the House Intelligence Committee to totally disregard and outright purport the opposite of intelligence community findings.
is this the same investigation that was given a 120 million budget that they used 0 dollars of
edit: nah that was something else but honestly it's all the same. republicans are all frauds
I'm going to ask something, and I want people's honest opinions. Did you honestly expect anything more from this committee?
Disappointed in Gowdy tbh, not at all surprised by Nunes tho.
“We have found no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” they told reporters Monday.
However, Rep. Mike Conaway (R-Texas), the lawmaker leading the committee’s probe, told reporters that the worst the investigation uncovered involved “perhaps some bad judgment, inappropriate meetings, inappropriate judgment at taking meetings.”
this is just stupid.
Republicans continue to be verminous traitors.

The special counsel investigation led by Mueller is still ongoing; this particular investigation was a separate one and also just a front
They didn't do any investigating for the entire year did they?
They spent the year actively obstructing investigation. The Republican majority was constantly refusing to grant interviews, subpoenas, etc. The House Intelligence Committee became nothing more than a GOP propaganda machine targeted towards discrediting the investigation. In practical terms, the House investigation being perverted in this way doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. Mueller's team has the real meat here. However, there are some frightening implications here:
1) This reinforces the simple truth that the Republican majority would rather knowingly allow a hostile foreign nation to attack our country than allow the public to vote for Democrats.
2) This reinforces that the GOP is going to continue actively assaulting our rule of law, and will not vote to impeach Trump when Mueller presents charges.
3) This is going to give propaganda outlets like Fox news a bullshit narrative to sell: intentionally misrepresenting the lines between the house investigation and other investigations, and selling the narrative that, "the investigation already concluded that there was No Collusion? Why is this FBI Witch Hunt still going?"
4) Trump will attempt to use this as justification to prematurely kill Mueller's investigation, using Fox propaganda to incite and misinform their voterbase.
5) The GOP has no intention whatsoever of stopping Trump from attempting to prematurely kill Mueller's investigation, and will in fact almost certainly help him to do so.
I can't wait for these fucking cowardly traitors to spend their remaining days behind bars, worst case scenario. Best case scenario? The actual punishment for straight up treason.
Disappointed in Gowdy tbh, not at all surprised by Nunes tho.
Don't understand why anyone had any faith in Trey Gowdy since he built his reputation on politicizing and openly bragging about how he used repeat investigations into Benghazi as a political hatchet job.
This has nothing to do with Mueller right? He's still in the game right?
I mean, there HAS to be shit behind Trump. The republicans coming out with this result isn't really surprising.

Yup. He's on a seperate team
So if Mueller is able to slap down on the table concrete, undeniable proof of collusion then will the people behind this investigation be subject to charges of some kind?

The gaslighting is fucking real. That sentence that begins with "We" isn't even grammatically correct in the bullet format. I'm sure Nunes inserted it in by himself.
I hope all the people protecting Trump spend the rest of their lives behind bars. Truly amazing how much the GOP hates America and everything it stands for.
If the intelligence community disagrees with the report that's about all I need to know.
is the GOP considered a terrorist organization yet
this shit is gone beyond stupid at this point
I'm hoping Mueller doesn't stop with the Trump administration but goes after the broader GOP for their involvement. Put Nunes in a cell for the rest of time.
