Rep. Michele Bachmann has drawn ire and laughs once again with another colorful comment said in her debate on Tuesday against opponent Jim Graves on Tuesday. Now the clip is going viral, and her many detractors on the left side of the aisle are all too happy to poke fun at the sentence that's making it's way around the Internet.
"It's insulting to say that these are political speech, because that's one thing I do not do, is political speech," Bachmann said, quickly inspiring laughs in the audience.
Though Bachmann has never been as divisive a character as Republicans like Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock, she spawned a healthy base of haters during the 2012 primaries, with many naysayers comparing the Minnesota native to Sarah Palin. The not-so-thought-out reasoning? They're both attractive brunettes who seem to make a lot of ignorant gaffes.
But in June 2011, the Washington Post ran a popular article entitled "Why Michele Bachmann is No Sarah Palin," stating:
"The comparisons between Palin and Bachmann are, at one level, apt. Both are women (duh) who align most closely with social conservatives. Both are outspoken defenders of their chosen causes whose rhetoric occasionally gets them into hot water.
But, that's where the similarities end. And, over the past few months, Bachmann has proven that she is different in important ways from Palin - differences that make her the more viable of the two when it comes to the 2012 presidential race."
Her'es some more context because "I don't do political speech" makes no sense without context
Medicare is currently unsustainable, Bachmann said.
"We have to reform the system for those that are 55 years and younger," Bachmann said. "And whether that's changing age variables, there's a number of variables that we can put in. That's what we have to look at."
Graves accused Bachmann of not answering how she would go about making entitlement programs sustainable, saying "we can't do the political-speak any longer."
Bachmann shot back, arguing that she has called for reforms.
"This is a moral issue. We can't go down the path that we're in," Bachmann said. "I've very much been a part of the solution and it's insulting to say these are political speech because that's one thing I do not do is political speech."
I could do a slightly small amount of research and find a ton of batshit insane bullshit she's said that are meaningless and completely insane
I would do a "this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this" post but you can do that by typing "Bachmann says" in youtube
the only reason she's still a politic is because she's too funny to let go
I was going to rate heart and say that laughing at someone like that is pretty rude.
Then I realized this was Michele Bachmann, not Michelle Obama, and that she said she didn't do any 'political speech', not just empty political speech. I then rated correctly.

If you look at the context it's clear she meant "political speech" as in talking vaguely and dodging real answers. I felt that to just put "doesn't do political speech" in the title would be out of context and similar to "you didn't build that" and other selections of bullshit
This woman needs to leave politics forever.
In fact, she needs to go back in time and stop herself from entering politics in the first place.
Why? Why on earth is this dumb cow still trying?
How is she even a political candidate in any form of government? I've read all about her and her history and frankly, the bitch doesn't seem fit to flip burgers, let alone a position of influence in the fucking government.

Evangelicals keep supporting her. They're the only reason why she still has a political career. That James Dobson fellow back when she first ran for Congress got a bunch of them to vote for her and donate money to her campaign. Everybody else seems to understand just how much of a massive joke she is
