Your internet is clogged. Prolonged internet use without a proper cleaning can leave your internet feeling much slower than before. The effect may not be evident in regular web browsing, but can be more obvious during online games, due to the type of connection used.
Here's what you need to do: first, you need to try to clean out your internet from the inside. What you need to do is find a blank page (for instance, open up about:blank), and leave it open for a few hours. This should clean out your internet, but if it doesn't, proceed to the next step.
The next thing you should do is to try to dump out the clogged data from the cable itself. Take an Ethernet cable - if you're using wireless internet, use the one attached to the wireless router - hold it over a bucket, and press down the little tab on top of the cable. This is a switch that allows internet to flow through the cable. That is why it needs to be pressed down to connect to a device. Do this for a few minutes.
Your internet should be much faster after completing these steps.

Thanks, just did this. Worked perfectly. Had to use two buckets though, so I recommend having a few on hand OP if your internet is especially clogged. Like 3-4 even
