PSU / Motherboard / GPU broken - Computer fails to boot under certain cirumstances?

My computer died quite a violent death last night. First the graphics driver stopped working and sent my GTX570 black-screening, then it failed on startup, and at last the computer failed to start up at all, making all but a tiny electrical noise from the PSU area when the power button was pressed.
So I guess it's the PSU, but here's the weird thing: I can get the PSU to run by using the old paperclip trick, and the computer seemingly powers up (everything still unplugged except the 24 pin cable) the next few times I press the power button after plugging a few cables in - but after plugging in every cable for all the case fans and my GPU it just flat-out refuses to work.
Wat do? RMAing the PSU and getting a false positive would be around $30 I don't feel like spending.
PSU is Seasonic Bronze 620W, Motherboard is ASRock Xtreme3 Gen3, GPU is GTX570
