Hey, I had 600 euro to spend on Upgrade, my old pc was:
Core 2 Duo, 2.4 Ghz
4 GB DDR2 RAM 800mhz
HD5770 GPU.
Today I started buying parts and so far I got:
P8H67-M Mobo with H67 intel chipset.
6 GB DDR3 (3 sticks)
750W PSU.
New case.
Now I need to get CPU tomorrow, I still have 350 euro left.
So I have choice basically
This http://www.elara.ie/productdetail.aspx?productcode=MMEZ260621 SSD + i5 2500k
or
2600k i7 so what should I do? Also stickers on my ram say: PC3 - 10600 what does that mean? Is it like 1600 mhz or what? if so should I go return and get 1333?
PC 10600 memory is 1333
And I'd go with the 2500k unless you do rendering all the time.
the 2500K would provide you with more than enough power for games, and the SSD would seriously speed your PC up.
Okay which SSD out of these is better so:

I use an intel SSD myself, works great.
Okay decidedto get Intel 520 series SSD + 2500k, heard some good things about Intel 520 series SSD's
Intels aren't the fastest but from my research seem to end up being the most reliable and have a fantastic warranty from what I remember.
Yeah, thats it too late to change anything now, I ordered stuff.
getting 2500k and Intel 520 Series 60 GB SSD.
By the way think that with :
Intel i5 2500k,
6 GB DDR3 - 1333 Mhz
HD5770 - 1GB GDDR5 GPU
I will be able to run battlefield 3 on at least mediums?
I'd advise that you get 4 gigs of ram clocked at 1600 Mhz instead of the current plan of 6 gigs at 1333 Mhz.
You will not use more than 4 gigs and if you're "future proofing" then it's not gonna work either way since DDR4 is probably gonna be way faster.
But the current setup will probably play BF3 at medium. My old setup had a Dual core athlon at 3 ghz, 2 gigs of ddr2 ram clocked at 800 Mhz
and the same Graphics card as the one in your list and that setup could play BF3 just fine at 25 FPS.
I have one of those 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 and it's nothing short of brilliant. The Intel SSD's do look shiny though.

My motherboard said max supports 1333 mhz

Sorry English is my third language, "nothing short of brilliant" means good or bad?

Very good :)
Wait, why the hell did you get a H67 board?
[editline]18th March 2012[/editline]
And why three sticks of ram?
4x 2gb is best choice.

Don't know, was really just looking for motherboard which is 1155 socket and has 2 PCI-E and 4 RAM slots.
And 3 sticks or ram because I didn;'t have anymore money?

Didn't have that much money, will upgrade as time goes.
2x4 will run faster for you. Running 3 sticks will force it into single channel. Also ram is hella fucking cheap. 8gb for like 35 bucks.
sell the third stick for massive profit

What I might do is: sell my 500W PSU (which came with new case) and buy 2 more gigs.
Get the 2500k + an SSD unless you do a lot of video editing.
But even then, I doubt you'll need the extra power.
If you do decide to go for the 2500k + SSD, I'd recommend a Crucial M4.
Are you just gaming? If so, the 2500k is enough. If you're doing a lot more than just gaming, the HT on the 2600k can benefit by a good amount depending on the application as well as the tiny bit of extra cache. Also, if you plan on making a pretty beefy OC the higher binning of the chip can achieve higher clocks with less voltage (this isn't guaranteed though). My 2700k does 1.248v at 4.5 GHZ, still testing stability though.
If you're getting the 2500k or 2600k then don't get an H67 board. Also stick with Crucial, Intel or Samsung SSD's. Whatever of those are within your price/capacity range. OCZ are regarded as highly unreliable so don't get those if you do plan to.
Buy ram in a kit and not each separately. Seriously, it's probably one of the cheapest components now.
I got 2 2x4gb kits for 20 each.
My Kingston modules are even cheaper than that on sale. ~15 bucks.
