• Ask a recent US Army BCT graduate anything.

I just recently completed all of the training in BCT and am now home on victory block leave. I went to Ft. Jackson, 193rd BDE Fox company 2/60th battalion if that matters to anyone. Feel free to ask me anything about it, I will be blunt and not sugar coat anything.
Did they let you add the Mechanicus symbol to your tags?
How rough is it, physically? Also, how long? Air Force basic, here. Nearly completed it, but I decided to swing by the doc to see why I was wheezing during the 1.5 mile runs for our PT tests right before BEAST week. Turns out I had some extremely mild case of exercise-induced asthma (despite wrecking the push-ups and sit-ups), so they shipped me over to the 319th med-hold and later gave me the boot. I was later told that Army's PT qualifications are pretty mild, and that you can actually get in with something like I have.
Cone: No, they didn't. They just put other-rel on it. Doom: You can get a waiver for that in the Army. My APFT requirements are 35 p/u 52 s/u 2 mile in 16:30 and those are the minimum req. for BCT. AIT is more. BCT is 9 weeks long roughly, and it is not as physically hard as it is mentally. If you have the determination and heart you will pass just fine.
What's your MOS? I'm not sure how schooling after Basic Training works in the Army, but do you have "blocks" or "phases" when it comes to classes in AIT? How long is AIT? Turned out to be popped blood vessels from the pugil sticks. What Squadron were you in by the way?

My AIT is 13 weeks long and I am a 15S, OH-58D helicopter repairer. The length depends on what MOS you have.

We got lucky with the numbers, super easy to remember. I think I was dorm A6 at the 319th.
Did your staff sergeant touch you inappropriately? Did he caress and/or fondle your testicles in his mouth like a pair of golf balls in a washer?
Do you like tacos?
Kane: That would be fraternizing, therefore no. Sandman: Yes, but they don't serve them at the DFAC.
