A hostage situation inside a building where mental health and other medical services are offered is over, but the suspect's condition is unknown after being shot by police. Dozens of police units responded, along with Allegheny County SWAT, prompted by reports that a man with a gun and a knife was inflicting injuries on people inside the Turtle Creek Valley Mental Health facility on West Street. According to Fulton, the man said he "was angry from something that happened when he was staying there with us, when he was a patient, and he started saying, 'You ruined my life,' and he proceeded to stab individuals and assault individuals inside the office and other staff members on the unit."
pasta sauce Mental health in this country is a sham, how many times does something like this have to happen before something is done about it? They did the right thing by shooting him, given that he was stabbing people.
As terrible as it may be that someone whose mentally ill had to die, when they start harming others there's really not many options. Especially when they can't be reasoned with in a normal sense.
