• People can't join my servers, ports forwarded, firewalls allowed. Why?

Heya guys. Using the BT homehub, which in itself is a penis to try and get things forwarded for. I have set ports allowed for both UDP and TCP incoming and outgoing for multiple applications and people cannot join my servers on these games. For example, TCP port #### to ####. Translate to: #### to #### (some as above) No idea what the translate and trigger ports are. and a trigger port of ####. Any ideas? Cheers. Also, how do I find what my computer's 'Device name' is on the network. cheers
Control panel, system and security, system for device name, if I understand what you're asking.
Also Speccy should give you that, under network
Cool, Cheers. That clarifies i'm assigning ports to the correct computer. I can host on Killing Floor and Gmod. But I can't host on anything else unless it's via Hamachi... Any ideas?

Well, erm, yea, isn't that kind of a given by the fact I said that ports have been forwarded?
Are you hosting all the games on the same port?
They all have their own individual ports which I am allowing through my device. For example HL2: 27015 UDP/TCP through 192.168.1.75 This works. Also I can host on Killing Floor. - and on Terraria using Hamachi. But this is it. I can't get anything else to work.
what other games are you trying to get working? It could be a software limitation.
Mount and Blade: Warband, Warzone 2100, and terraria without the use of Hamachi. (It eats my internet) Haven't tried much others 'cos i've just rebuilt my computer. I read about Mount and Blade having problems with the use of Hamachi, but it didn't work without anyway, with hamachi you can at least see each others server, but can't join. Warzone servers may be down, i'll research that now. Cheers.
