I lived in this apartment for 4 years. Well, my land lord whom I use to rent a town house apartment from is asking me for about 2000 dollars in repair fees! The Apartment is in ok shape and the carpet is not half that bad, but she is charging me 2000!!!!! I also paid 2 months rent without even living in the apartment which would be about 1600 dollars and now she wants 2000 dollars on repair fees?? What should I do???? I mean she is charging me for 200 dollars for a working microwave, and she is charging me 550 dollars for a a working oven???? I mean the house has been in use for 4 freaking years. What should I do my facepunch brothers!
WTF? Can you buy a microwave and use yours? That would honestly be cheaper.
Pay the bitch.
What exactly are you being charged for? (What individual items.)

Wall- 600 caused I painted it a new shade of white because i was living their for 4 years.

$600 because you painted a wall? That won't hold up in court.
$600 because you painted a wall? That won't hold up in court.
I know man, just because I painted a freaking wall.
Make a thread.
Make a thread.
I think I will go tomm. or something to go bring up these statements.
Sue the crap out of her.
Don't worry OP I've been in the same position as you and this is how I got out of it. I was living in a house I rented out for a year and a half for work out in Pennsylvania. So once the time was running out, about 2 months before my planned move out date which I talked about with my land lord, he charged me bogus fees adding up to over 2500 dollars. I politely told him to "Go fuck yourself" and called him a "Penny pinching son of a whore" to which he replied with a "You have until next Monday to get the fuck out of that house" I panicked, what the fuck would you do if you got charged out of the blue for bullshit? I did what any intelligent person would do, I converted him to communism. (User was banned for this post ("Convert to communism" - SteveUK))
Sue the crap out of her.
I don't wanna sue for such a stupid thing, all I want her to do is lower the payment to maybe under 1000 dollars? God damn you Pirate Joker.
I know man, just because I painted a freaking wall.
To be honest, I'd advise you ask a tenant/landlord forum for legal advice. Counters can be very expensive, but get them to explain what is wrong with them. Painting a wall does not cost near $600 and will not hold up in court. A nice microwave can cost $20, buy one and say you have fixed the problem. If the oven doesn't work but you took decent care of it, explain the oven has worn out from long-time use. She can't charge you as long as you took decent care of everything. She won't take you to court as it'd be a waste of time, especially for small claims under $5000. Be calm and patient and explain yourself. If not, get a 3rd party to assist you in resolving the situation. For a small fee, have a Mediator hear both sides of your story. They will draw up a contract based on their decision that is legally binding.
Do this, phone her, when she gets through her intro crap and says "Are you going to pay me my $2000?!?!?" say "No".
Have sex with her and end it with you shitting in her mouth, then take a picture and blackmail her. Advice given from experience, my friend

Landlords are like this, you just have to be as ruthless as she is.
Landlords are like this, you just have to be as ruthless as she is.
2 wrongs don't make a right?
Repaint the wall yourself, buy a new oven and microwave, and tell her to tell you what is wrong with the countertop.
im not wasting 500 dollars on a working oven thou.
im not wasting 500 dollars on a working oven thou.
If you talk to her and show it lasted as long as expected for normal use I think she should waive the charge.
