No comment:
So it's no wonder that when this Texas police officer saw Snoop in passing at the music festival SXSW, the police officer asked for a photo with one of the most influential African American entertainers of the last twenty years. The photo was taken and put up on Instagram for everyone of his police friends to see... However; the police down in Texas did not take too kindly to a rapper overwhelmingly known for smoking the buddah. The Texas Police Department of Public Safety brought up Snoop's past of criminal drug charges, and wanted to set an example for other police officers that fraternizing with previous felons was simply unacceptable.
Short source + official reply
Cops are not allowed to be friendly to the African American. Cops are only allowed to SHOOT the African American. In all seriousness, what the fuck.

Every man should have the right to a picture with Snoop Dogg when the opportunity is given. I mean, who wouldn't?
Snoop might have committed crimes in the past bu he's now rehablitated and has a bright future. Why focus on it's crimes instead of its present. The cops caught him and now he's a better person. I think that cops taking pics with him is something good and not bad. Fuck those square minded people that think otherwise.
Snoop might have committed crimes in the past bu he's now rehablitated and has a bright future.
are you saying this sarcastically or...
so i guess if a cop see's tim allen they can't get a picture with him and that's the real injustice here
so i guess if a cop see's tim allen they can't get a picture with him and that's the real injustice here
Bill Murray is off limits too. Truly a criminal mastermind there.
You know, it might just be me, but the vibe I'm getting from this is "once a felon, always a felon".
a vibe? that's pretty much exactly what they're fucking saying
Officer Spears must undergo counseling for an indefinite amount of time for the photo. Whaaaat? That's whack. So instead of laughing about it, and saying something like 'hey good photo, Spears,' the police turned around and basically said Officer Spears is insane.
Not sure what to say to that.
That's incredibly dumb. If you're going down the legal route instead of a person taking a photo with someone they're a fan of, surely you'd accept they've been punished and try to build bridges. IF you take that route at all.
Snoop Dogg doesn't smoke weed anymore [sp]or any less[/sp]
Cops are not allowed to be friendly to the African American. Cops are only allowed to SHOOT the African American. In all seriousness, what the fuck.
In all seriousness, what the hell went through your thought process when making this post?
Snoop Dogg may have gotten into trouble for taking a photo with a cop as well
Fuck texas!
Snoop Dogg may have gotten into trouble for taking a photo with a cop as well
Truly the modern Romeo and Juliet story.
are you saying this sarcastically or...
Smoking weed compared to what he used to do in the Crips is nothing, considering it's even legal in a few states, and medical in a bunch of others.
It's going to be legal soon anyway why don't you concentrate on actual criminals?
You know, it might just be me, but the vibe I'm getting from this is "once a felon, always a felon".
You've hit the nail on the head so hard, actually that it went through the earth and came out China [editline]7th April 2015[/editline]
Snoop might have committed crimes in the past bu he's now rehablitated and has a bright future.
Every man should have the right to a picture with Snoop Dogg when the opportunity is given. I mean, who wouldn't?
I wouldn't I'd look terrible I don't want to be that guy who looks like ass in a photo with Snoop Dogg :(
It's going to be legal soon anyway why don't you concentrate on actual criminals?
Because, as of right now, it's still illegal in a majority of the US. Just because something's going to be legal soon doesn't mean they need to stop cracking down on it while it's still illegal.
In all seriousness, what the hell went through your thought process when making this post?
I'm guessing the recent police shootings involving black people?
You know, it might just be me, but the vibe I'm getting from this is "once a felon, always a felon".
As a currently convicted felon, this is really upsetting. When I committed the crime, I realized what mistakes I made and have only become a better person since then. I hate seeing things like this. As soon as I start thinking it will get better, some stupid shit like this makes me regret it that much more, asking myself "what's the point in trying".

I know Snoop Dogg is a tall motherfucker but could you at least try proper framing
You know, it might just be me, but the vibe I'm getting from this is "once a felon, always a felon".
That's pretty much how it is here in the states once you have a felony that's it your pretty much done for and your career choices are absolutely fucked to nil values
Seriously, that attitude is what causes most criminals to feel alienated from society and leads them to re-offending which makes people go "see! I told you!" It's pretty shit.
I experienced that feeling and it sucks,..
what if the cop actually appreciates snoop doggs music and doesnt support smokin weed every day trouble in the lz, guess its hard being a c o douple p
