Recommend some fun free software to use while travelling...

I'm going on an 8 hour flight tomorrow, could any of you recommend me some fun software that could keep me entertained for a while?
Must be free software btw.
Sleep Version 3
Just take some DVDs/Music along with your laptop, infact even a game like Theme Hospital kept me occupied for hours while I was in hospital.
Sleep is also another option.
Mount and Blade, free up until level 6 where you just make a new character and try a different play style
demos off Steam

It's a netbook, probably won't run anything like that.
that would have been much more useful in the OP.

It might be able to pull of flash games. Actually, it should. My old as fuck laptop is probably less powerful than your average netbook, and I used to play N on it all the time. Just set details to low.
Half Life.
