I am okay with this.
Wow that was... Entertaining.
trying so hard edit: sorry, you're right, they barely tried at all
I think the child birth part was funny
That was pretty entertaining
The skatepark level is a little odd
Peter Stormare is awesome.
Someone at Treyarch has a sense of humour.
Oh looky. Xbox gets it first...as normal.

I liked the trailer. It was entertaining. Can't wait for the DLC to come out on PC too so I can play around with that SMG :D
Then why are you excited for it?
Because it seems like something new and interesting in an otherwise stale and boring franchise of games. I played COD way back when, but now only my brother plays them... which is why I have most of the new ones.

I mean, I'm just not seeing how Black Ops 2 is any different from the last four or five games they've churned out. To each his own, but I'll almost certainly be passing this up!

It's not TOO different and it definitely isn't worth $60 if you don't like CoD, but at least Treyarch have definitely made a tangible effort to mix it up a bit and actually deliver a good product. Basically, if you like CoD, it's probably one of the best in recent years. If you're generally apathetic towards it but want a good way to waste away a day and a fraction of your income, it does that job just fine. If you don't like CoD at all, it's not worth shelling out for it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

The Big Bad isn't some ultra-Russian, and he actually does provide some interesting social commentary throughout the story which is fairly surprising. You get to make choices throughout the story and those actually have a noticeable impact by the end of the game. Hell, its possible to unknowingly miss something or make the wrong choice and completely fuck yourself in the end. So Treyarch pleasantly surprised me with this one.
But isn't COD pretty much singlehandedly responsible for said stale and boring genre of games?
no, it's the fault of the companies who invest time and capital trying to ride on it's coattails by making stale and boring games.
