Word of the rumour mill suggests another could be Resident Evil Zero, which was previously only released on Gamecube.
This would be fair enough but why is it that this gen is apparently the generation of fucking remakes, oh we can make close to photorealistic graphics and we can make the games that people have dreamt about for the past 20 years but no, let's just remake stuff.
Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins for PC, please.
Resident Evil Zero's the already-mentioned most obvious answer, maybe they could figure out a way to make the character-switching a little less cumbersome or perhaps, dare I say it, co-op since the game supposedly shares parts of the same engine with later entries in the franchise. But with how much of a budget success REmake HD was, combined with the fact that Capcom's shown they're willing to still make RE games even after RE6's abominable reputation, maybe they should finally get around to making a REmake of 2 that everyone's wanted for a decade now?

Probably because people are growing more dissatisfied with modern games and are much more critical of their faults, so why not regain consumer base and some profit with cashing off of older titles through nostalgia?
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - Steam Edition please?
Or some Dino Crisis, we had enough Resident Evil Remakes, give me Dino Crisis!
Dead Rising 1, jesus fuck PLEASE GIVE ME THAT.
Oh and RE 0 would be nice.
Revive Resident Evil Outbreak on PC :v:
DRAGONS DOGMA for PC
Seriously, I would fight a bear for this

Honestly it's a good thing in a certain sense, by reintroducing games that have long since been somewhat dead, it opens a new generation to a time where there were better games, and no DLC. Not only that, it's really just a piece holder until more serious games come out with better graphics and otherwise. The same was technically seen on the older generation as well, with remakes of games in the very beginning of the last-gen to supplement gamer while developers compiled engines and otherwise. In any case, it ends up being both a good and bad thing.
give us rE2
You know what Capcom? Go fuck yourself.
I'm sick to fucking death of seeing every God damn company make HD remakes over and over. It is actually making this console generation the most boring of all God damn time so far.

But but Dragons Dogma :(
It runs like shit on PS3
Goof Troop or go home
Ah yes, HD remasters with almost 0 effort.

Except there are a lot of examples where a HD remake is a god send? Some old games are hard to get, especially if it's multiplayer.
Especially fighting games. Good luck if you live near an arcade and good luck if they have the game you want to play. You're left with emulators which are clunky and are SP only or have shitty netplay options.
Street Fighter 3: Online edition is pretty much this. The only legit way to play it aside from arcade is on Dreamcast but the HD remake gives it an amazing online netcode which means you can play it on modern consoles without tampering with ghetto netplay clients.

PLEASE Capcom do this. The Outbreak games have such a cool unique feel to the co-op, it sucks you have to jump through so many hoops to play it multiplayer nowadays. I'd get a PC re-release in a heartbeat if it had the same multiplayer capabilities of the originals.
I'd ask for Devil May Cry HD Collection, though this would most likely require a graphical upgrade similar to Serious Sam's.
yeah i will never get the disdain toward hd re releases
sure low-effort ones are a bummer and in rare cases can ruin games, but it's better than hunting down some older games
i always thought of it as the equivalent of films going from dvd to blu ray.
most of this doesn't really apply to pc but most games that get a 'hd' release on pc didn't have a pc port to begin with, or one that was even worse (like a lot of older capcom ones)
Please make an HD release of Dalkstalkers 3 with the content from all versions instead of emulating the arcade version.
If you could do it for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure game why not for your own franchises?

Uhh, it already exists.

RE2/RE3 remake. Or a remaster of Dragon's Dogma for PS4.

I may be the only one who wants it, and I doubt they would do any work on 2d games, but god damn I would kill to play this on wii u.
[editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
Well I'll be damned, the original is on the eshop, oops
Nice redo Dino Crisis one and two!!!
As long as they are good PC ports like the REsimake, why not. If they are going to butcher it, fuck it.
...during the current fiscal years, would certainly include Devil May Cry 4, which the company has already announced that a HD remaster of will be coming to PC.
An HD version of an HD game? For fucks sake, PCGamesN...
RE2/RE3 remake.
Probably not going to happen, that would require work.
Uhh, it already exists.

Referring to a PC port of it, which won't happen due to a disparity regarding standards for HD re-releases.
Its WAYYYYYYYY too much to ask for, but an HD remaster of Breath Of Fire 1-4 and Dragon Quarter?
It REALLY pains me to say it, but if Breath Of Fire 5, aka the one being made as a browser/mobile game does well, my request might be more feasible as it would show there is slight interest in Breath Of Fire.
How about Mega Man Legends 1+2, Power Stone and Rival Schools?
