Then those companies went out of business. Beezag is doing the same model a decade later. Beezag's premise is to target 18-24 year olds—makes sense, since they're the poorest people with the most amount of free time to watch ads for cash—and give them prizes in return. The prizes? Beezag then rewards them with discounts and cash which can be paid into accounts like iTunes, PayPal™, their favorite charity or even their personal bank account. Unfortunately, payout rates were absolute garbage back then, and I don't imagine they're any better now. The best thing I got out of it was a shirt for GarageBand.com. It's fine if you want to revisit an old business model that takes advantage of kids with no money, but don't pretend that it's some revolutionary thing you came up with now. The only thing new that we see is the Beezag bracelet they're giving away with an ID on it, plus an iPhone app that you can watch ads with on the go.
http://www.beezag.com/
Sweet, I'm gonna become a billionaire for getting this. Totally.
So.. If I leave my Iphone on overnight with this running... I can become rich?
So.. If I leave my Iphone on overnight with this running... I can become rich?
Probably requires you to interact after each ad.
So.. If I leave my Iphone on overnight with this running... I can become rich?
That's what I'm wondering.
Probably requires you to interact after each ad.
I'll invent a robot to keep interacting with the Iphone while I sleep. I'll become a billionaire.
Put some food on your Iphone over night so your dog/cat will lick it off and press the button.
Goddamn touchscreen only responds to fingers. Ruins this plan:

but touchscreens react to your hand when it senses the warmth, hence why they don't work so good in the cold
but touchscreens react to your hand when it senses the warmth, hence why they don't work so good in the cold
I always thought they were capacative and worked by sending electricity through your fingertip
Tape your finger over the place where the button would be, then release a bunch of flies into your room and go to sleep. Every time a fly lands on you it gets slap it with your iPhone hand, thus pressing the button.
Or, you could just jailbreak your Iphone, then write/code your own app that runs a script that "interacts" with the ads.
Or, you could just jailbreak your Iphone, then write/code your own app that runs a script that "interacts" with the ads.
B-b-but I don't know how to write/ code my own app. :frown:

Ahahaha, great episode.
Oh, I sense this app being exploited hard.
but touchscreens react to your hand when it senses the warmth, hence why they don't work so good in the cold
No, they work with electricity.
Anyone have invites available for this place??
No, they work with electricity.
No, they work with the warmth of your shit.

The way that stylus works is that it takes the energy from your body for the screen to use, which is why it's made out of metal and which is why it's so thick.
I bet it would still be easy to make some sort of automaton for that program.
