So two years ago I had a problem: games using punkbuster (BF3, blacklight retribution, red orchestra 2 and many others) would just freeze my PC after 15 minutes of playing. After searching around for ages, I found out that realtek audio drivers don't like punkbuster. The problem was fixed by using some prehistoric sound card which didn't even have proper win 7 drivers, but that card died 2 months ago and now I'm back on integrated and it's back. Updating drivers did not solve the problem (although a lot of people said that it did help). Any ideas?
1 more thing to note, the computer does make a dump (like a BSOD) and it can be checked using bluescreenview, however it doesn't point to the realtek drivers, it points to ntoskrnl.exe.
Upload the minidump.
I had the same problem with BF3 years ago, as far as I know the only solution is to disable the realtek sound card and use a dedicated one, so I did that and got a Sound Blaster Audigy SE, which fortunately still works, even on Win 10.
Had the same thing with the crashes, though most of the time it wouldn't even make a dump, and instead would crash with a sound loop until I manually reset it.

I don't think punkbuster plays well with anything OP
Oh yeah, i had a look at the minidump, CPU itself raises and exception, which makes the minidump useless, but that's in line with the punkbuster+realtech driver BSODs other people are experiencing.
Make sure your bios is completely updated. The driver is actually updated (Check the date/version in device manager, latest version is June 25th 6.0.1.7541 ), and that you don't have 2 Realtek drivers running next to each-other or something.
I've tried literally every solution that I can find and none of them worked. They only extended the period before the freeze happens to 20 minutes and that's it. I guess it's either time to buy a new sound card or to not play punkbuster games. At least red orchestra has some VAC servers instead of PB.
