Trainz Simulator 12 & Railworks 2, ultimate showdown.
...can you wreck them
The 'z' sold it for me
Trainz? Insta-buy, I'd love to feed my Trainz, let them sleep and watch them play with other Trainz and Truckz...
god what an intense game
but there's no DLC :ohdear:
Oooh, Acela Express... Only 10 years late. They had this in MSTS which was in 2001. Still, for some reason I am tempted.
I liked Trainz when it was new. But Trainz Ultimate, Trainz 2004, Trainz 2006, Trainz 2007, Trainz 2010, Trainz 2011 and Trainz 12 is exactly the same as the first one. They take content made by the community (with heavily varying quality), add one or two locos made by themselves, create a new skin for the UI, change the title, then sell it for the price of a complete new game. As if that wasn't enough rant material, they also block the access to the download station (where almost all the custom content is) to those who don't own the newest game or pay for a special "first class" ticket. They aren't any better than EA or Activision. The developer is also the one who sells all those horrible simulators (forklift simulator, garbage truck simulator, road works simulator, heavyweight transport simulator, ...).
They spelt "trains" incarrectly.
Actually looks pretty cool. Maybe not $45 cool but still cool.
They spelt "trains" incarrectly.
I see what you did there
I can't believe they would charge this at 45$
There is coop goddammit. Also "Satellite View - Zoom all the way out and view your railroad from satellite distance" Whaaaaaaat.
GOTY 2011
Oh god these guys, I seriously don't understand how did they not lose funding yet, releasing this shit year after year.
People buy them. There's a very select group of people that are really into these things. It's also why you have shitloads of commercial addons for MS flight simulator and really obscure strategy games produced en-mass. Really niche markets.
You've never heard of people loving model trains? There's not a lot, but it's enough that it's a thing you can market to
I was speaking of their other garbage, like Garbage Truck simulator.
Wait, DID THE I MISS THE OTHER 11?! OH NOOOOOO :byodood::
Forget Battlefield 3, Trainz Simulator 12 is a game is to die for.
fuck this game railworks for life
fuck this game railworks for life
you've no idea what youre talking about TrainZ is far more superior than railworks, the Z is a market standard for superior games
