From the producer of Gargoyles and The Spectacular Spider-Man, comes the most anticipated animated series of the year, Young Justice, set to premiere on Cartoon Network sometime in November 2010.
Plot
The show focuses on the lives of Young Justice members as protégés attempting to establish themselves as proven superheroes and as teenagers dealing with adolescent issues that revolve around school, relationships, sex, and so forth. The tone of Young Justice is said to be "grounded" and "realistic," and deaths can include those of main or important characters.

Despite the procedural nature of each episode, there will be a serial story arc and continuity to the series, and multiple subplots will be weaved throughout the episodes.

Superman is said to have shown up ten years ago; Bruce Wayne assumed Batman at his superhero identity nine years ago.

However, the show is still a part of the overall Multiverse continuity. In this context, Multiverse often refers to an alternate continuity construct whereas DC Universe refers to the mainstream continuity of DC Comics. As an in-universe explanatory note, Multiverse consists of numerous worlds, of which one of them is where DC Universe takes place (known as Earth-One in the original Multiverse and New Earth/Earth-0 in the new Multiverse).

Both incarnations of Robin (Dick Grayson and Tim Drake) are usually the leaders of their teenaged superhero teams.

The Justice League will also be making occasional appearances on the show as mentors. Yes, the show is in the same continuity as Crisis on Two Earths.

Matt Sernaker of ComicsOnline rated the premiere episode 5 out of 5, stating: "Young Justice easily lives up to the high expectations and standards that we would hope to see with any DC animated project. This series has the potential to take both the Young Justice team and the Justice League in a fantastic new direction.
so no one then.
Really don't know what're talking about.
I'm looking forward to the show. Looking for something to supplement Justice League.
Loving this, loved teen titans, loved the young justice series, and loved justice league. Also, expect this thread to get one or two people who claim this is the worst thing to happen ever. As its happened in like every other awesome thread ever. Cannot wait for this.
So it's like Teen Titans with some high school drama?
Not really. It's more down to earth.
nolan north
is in everything
He is a very accomplished voice actor.
Well for the most part every DC cartoon has been good.
If there's a cartoon that's suppose to apply for a young audience, they should just continue Teen Titans, and not create train wrecks like this.
Explain why you think the show is an abomination.
the one with orange hair is the best
Who? Kid Flash?
teenagers dealing with adolescent issues
Not again
Shit, this looks cool.
Hope it's better than teen titans was, cuz that was awful.
Nearly all of the DC shows that were at all prevalent succeeded and with this being more down to earth much like the later seasons of JLA and JLA:U. I have no doubt in my mind this is going to be better than decent.
Y'all are just player hatin'.

The anime style crap? Yes, I hate that too.
The preimere aired last week to an action-packed one hour episode. A review can be read here.
