"Almost funded" my ass. They're 400.000 dollars short and they already had to extend the deadline once.
76% isn't almost funded? Also, is it somehow better to just let it die than extend? wtf?
76 is quite a way away from 100, yes. Unless this gets major publicity, I'm not seeing them hit it if they've already had to extend the deadline.
1.5 mil for a side scrolling rpg is inane
1.5 mil for a side scrolling rpg is inane
I was already inclined to agree before I looked at the indiegogo page and seen how utterly dull everything looks. also I just realized that their actual budget for the game is 3.5 million. where the hell is that money supposed to be going

Yacht Club Games made a blog post about their budget issues and how they underestimated how much games actually cost to make. They had to make tons of sacrifices including going five months without payment just to get the game through. Shovel Knight was a just a 10~ hour long pixel side-scroller. Indivisible is a RPG side-scroller that is trying to aim for a main quest that is 20-30 hours long as well as using the same animation style that Skullgirls has.
76% isn't almost funded? Also, is it somehow better to just let it die than extend? wtf?
no, it isn't "almost funded". They've got 24% of the figure to achieve, with less than 24% of the time to do it in, and going against the trend of crowdfunding going viral and succeeding massively, or not and failing (which is why the campaign already failed once) in what world is being 350,000 dollars short of your goal with 9 days left, when you've struggled for over a month to obtain 1.1 million dollars, close? this will get funded if they have some enormous donations suddenly fly their way, but if the trend of donations progresses as it has done, they will not achieve the goal the fact that pcgamesn say that it's "well on it's way" suggests that, once again, pcgamesn have poorly researched the subject rather than being a statement of fact

It's a shame for the devs, I think they aimed too high.
:saxout:
gg they got 100,000 dollars in the past day
this will get funded if they have some enormous donations suddenly fly their way, but if the trend of donations progresses as it has done, they will not achieve the goal
It is not the first time a project gets 10-20% of the entire budget in the last two days.
It seems that they also get a 2 mil fund from another studio after reaching the indiegogo goal.
