I have a hardware related question/isssue. A week ago my Pc would randomly lock up when watching flash videos and playing games and it would randomly lose connection to the sound card. When I reboot it, half the time it won't recognize my GPU until I reseat it. The same thing happened when I tried plugging in a different GPU. Heat doesn't seem to be an issue, all my component wont go over 100F unless under load.
I figured that this might be either an issue with my power supply or mobo. I have a warranty on both. Should I have them replaced/fixed? If so, which? Or is some other part causing the problem?
Try a spare PSU first. if that doesn't solve problems, run memtest.

What you can try is to borrow one of these components from one of your friends and try it out.
Also open up the case and check if all plugs are plugged correctly, also check if cables are not touching components or blocking fans.
Also LordCrypto, he is asking a question, not even sure why you rate it dumb.
