Hey Facepunch.
So tomorrow I'm getting a 4870x2 and a new PSU for $35 for both. Great deal on my part.
My only concern about the upgrade is having enough room in my case for all those extra cables.
Right now I have a Rosewill Destroyer, which is a very very nice case, but lacks cable management.
I need a case that can hide a ton of cables, and be big enough for a 12" card. (I know the 4870x2 is only about 10.5", but I want wiggle room too.)
My budget is roughly $40-80, but no more than 80 (Including shipping.)
I would most prefer it to have a window on the side, but doesn't necessarily have to.
Thanks in advance!

Couple cases I've been looking at.

I recommend that CM690 II, but it's $90 with shipping, you're contradicting yourself.
This can be an option I think

Wait on the box it says it supports GPUs up to 29cm (~11.5in) so I guess nevermind
Then how about the 912? I know for sure that case can fit a 4870x2 in there

I've been eying the 912 actually..its definitely a candidate.
Any other suggestions?
Antec 300?
Antec 300?
eh not really that great these days, at least with alternatives like the 912 that have a much better interior
antec could really do with updating it, at least give it some form of cable management
I agree with jaehead, I think this is the best option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=11-112-238&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=(keywords)&Page=1#scrollFullInfo

I like that case too, but it doesn't really meet the specifications in OP
unless ghost can deal with losing about half an inch
Well it depends what he wants more, half an inch more of 'wiggle room' or a side window

You know you want it.

Ricer Gamer Girl case?
Well, big let down guys...
Turns out it was just a normal 4870 and not an x2. :frown:
[editline]2nd January 2011[/editline]
But I got it for $40, and it was an upgrade.
I actually made money from upgrading from my 5750 to a 4870. Not a huge upgrade, but I made $50 cause I sold my 5750 for $90.
[editline]2nd January 2011[/editline]
I'm actually considering getting a NZXT Evo.
Aaw man that sucks. I remember that thread you made a while ago about the 4870x2. Oh well, a slight but nice upgrade and you get a free $50 right?
[editline]2nd January 2011[/editline]
Oh yeah get the HAF 912 if you still want a case upgrade, like others have said.
What do you guys think of this?

I like it
nice and simple design
Get it.
I don't like it. I prefer Lian Li's cleaner look ones, don't like the grills on the front. I think it looks a bit cheap.
Which case are you talking about? Because the case posted a couple of posts up is a lian-li

He said he prefers the cleaner Lian-Li cases. You know, the aluminum boxes with little to no fancy designs on them? Just flat pieces of metal? That is a ugly case by Lian-Li standards. It doesn't really look like the cases everyone would think Lian-Li make.

I like those cases my next build is going to use one :3:
Well the 4870 fits in my current case! And now I REALLY need a new case cause I just bought a Corsair A70 Heat sink for $35 at Best Buy.
Best Buy of all places? The A50 was $40, and the A70 was $35. I me and my friend grabbed the last two off the shelf.
This thing just barely clears my case. I think I'm gonna go with the K58.
Thanks guys!
