Do people still play this???
Yeah but its dying, which is a shame since the game is pretty good but the end game raids are pretty rough, leveling up sucks ass in the game (Took me an hour or TWO HOURS to level up ONCE) and possibly more

Yeah, I played it in the closed beta. I liked the combat and the ascetics but leveling was HORRID.
Played up tyo level 20 and could not force myself to play anymore.
One major problem I saw is that the end game content really doesn't seem to be worth all the torture of actually getting to the max level.
They changed the combat to be a lot more skill based, but enemies take a decent amount of time to kill most of the time. Combine that with very basic "Collect X number of things" "Kill X number of Y" quests that are a majority of what you're doing and the leveling experience is just awful. They essentially kept the WoW quest system, but changed the gameplay and the two don't go together well.
Dungeons and raids on the other hand, were super fun when I played. But there needs to be a lot more for the effort it takes. On release, I know there was almost nothing to do end game wise.
