Kind of a generic'ish' DnB track, it sounds fairly alright though, had a lot of fun making it so yeah, crack on. I used: Fruity Loops 8 Albino 3 MinimougeVA Other Compressing shit And a couple of hours, See what you think. C&C perhaps? Stream: http://users.d2k5.com/huggybear_13/files/Instinct.mp3 Youtube: Audio is fucked, just turn it down a bit :)
I can already hear the problem. Not many DnB songs start like this. Atleast not the good ones. most awesome DnB songs have an intro>buildup>epic drop>THEN the song you've made comes in. It's still a very good tune. But it does not fit the DnB tradition.
sounds more like garage to be honest
sounds more like garage to be honest
If it's meant to be DnB then it's DnB.
If it's meant to be DnB then it's DnB.
well that's a pretty shit explination I can tell you this isn't dnb, it's garage, possibly speed garage
well that's a pretty shit explination I can tell you this isn't dnb, it's garage, possibly speed garage
If he meant to make a DnB track then it IS a DnB track. Doesn't maybe sound like DnB to you but it's still a DnB tune.
awww i liked the intro, i don't usually like the long droney intros that DnB usually has so i just decided to cut right to the good stuff. I did intend for it to be DnB but if you think otherwise fair enough :D
well that's a pretty shit explination I can tell you this isn't dnb, it's garage, possibly speed garage
Sounds like DnB to me. Don't be a genrefag. The fuck is "garage" anyway? The beat was great, and I actually liked the abrupt start. I don't think EVERY DnB tune has to start with a lengthy intro, then it becomes samey if they all follow the exact same format. I felt that the wobbly bass synth could use some tweaking to be given more texture somehow, though.

Sounds more like garbage
It almost sounds like dubstep at certain parts, I really like it.
This is p cool.
more drum heaviness please not just bass

class
Great track, however repetitive for a DnB song.Rember and study the roots of Jungle and become dynamic. Remember what Wheeze said as well
most awesome DnB songs have an intro>buildup>epic drop>THEN the song you've made comes in. It's still a very good tune. But it does not fit the DnB tradition.
Style-wise keep it fun, raw, and insane Here are some examples: The Roots of DnB,Jungle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbPjiJ-4jMA Build Up/Transition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naYSjxgt270 Be Mysterious:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X268hvGohXc Be Fun:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW3fRS3AwsM otherwise keepitup
class
Stop bumping your own shit. You want to hear what I think about it? It sucks, there you have it you want to know why? Because it sounds like "Generic D&B Track" # 2'566'802. Generic. Cheesy. Repetitive. Don't ever bump this again.
im just wondering about that hihat-thing you got going on, is that a drumloop, or is it programmed?
The only time clownstep is good is when it is really good and this is bad clownstep so it's not really good so it's not good. Also, jesus christ I can hear it clipping and/ore over limiting and distorting so bad how the hell has no one else pointed this out yet. I fart out better DnB than this!!!!!!
