The man was spotted by a Tustin police officer, who saw the man carrying what seemed like a shotgun, “wrapped in what appeared to be a sweatshirt,” said Police Chief Charles Celano. The shooting was reported near Nisson Road and Red Hill Avenue, said Sgt. Andrew Birozy, a busy area surrounded by shops, homes and apartment buildings. Tustin officers have set up a perimeter and shut down Red Hill from Nisson to Mitchell Avenue, as they search for the man with a gun, Birozy said. [/QUOTE] This is only a few blocks from my house. Most of the schools are on lockdown too, guess my friend won't be getting out early today. The search is still going on because the police chief ordered everyone to stay inside about half an hour ago. This ruins my plans, I was supposed to go get gas today and that whole area is blocked off.
Just heard that 7 schools are in lockdown. Pretty nearby my house too.
As an update I guess they found the guy, not the shotgun though.
