why would you ever get an rgb mouse pad
they're too small, and they're too distracting while you're trying to game
I dunno a friend got one for his first gaming pc build and it's actually superb imo. Feels great and I'm used to generic office-style mousepads so it was actually huge compared to my specifications. The RGB aspect is gimmicky but looks nice and I don't mind it.

It also has USB passthrough which is really cool. You can bundle up the majority of your mouse cord and have a really neat desk space.
Can someone explain to me why the hell aren't the cables RGB too ?

for most people they are big enough, for me I need half the table
I always think that the cable "entrance" in the middle must be a pretty big problem.
Not just because you can hit your mouse on it but even before that your cable will probably hit it weird.
Then again, I would never spend that much on a mousepad.
I would never spend $60 on a mousepad that glows. Fuck's sake I got my current one for like $12 and it's like 12" x 16".
