A basic synopsis of the plot is this: Two car toys owned by some unknown kid wonder what their creator is. So they head off to this real old home and ask some retro toys, who tell them to visit their manufacturer. The toys do, after partying/almost being murdered by some newer toys about to be unstocked/shipped out at/to a store, whereupon the protagonist toys hide in a crate and go to their manufacturer's HQ. Once they arrive there, the toys look around, and end up seeing a meeting where the toy designers are thinking up a new toy in the protagonist's line. Effectively, another anthropomorphous car toy. Not sure what happens afterwards.
Small Soldiers
No, no. Not Small Soldiers. These were cars, not soldiers or aliens.
Robin William's 'Toys'
Ah. Got the film's name. "Where The Toys Come From", apparently. Also, they weren't cars, but binoculars. Fucking binoculars and a camera. I don't know how I managed to mix those up.
