• PETA makes new Pokemon parody, thinks Nintendo is ridiculous for releasing two versions of the same
Another Pokemon game on the horizon means we have another PETA parody that tries to somehow bridge the gap between real and make believe. In this latest parody, the target is not only Pokemon, but McDonalds as well. Stating that if Pokemon were indeed living in our world, they would eventually be made into food, like a delicious burger for example. PETA is also targeting McDonalds for fooling little kids into wanting a Happy Meal thanks to a cute Pokemon toy, even though the contents of a Happy Meal are anything but happy. Challenging the cute, sanitized version of the lives of farmed animals pushed by McDonald's Pokémon Happy Meals, PETA's game reveals the reality, showing kids what really happens to chickens killed for the restaurant chain. At the slaughterhouses of McDonald's chicken suppliers, for example, chickens are hung upside down and have their throats cut while they're still conscious, and many are immersed in tanks of scalding-hot water while they're still alive and able to feel pain. After their bodies are turned into McNuggets, they're sold to kids with the promise of a cute toy—such as a plastic Pokémon figure. However, serious matters aside, one thing that caught my eye in the very first scene which sets up the story, is that PETA thinks Nintendo is ridiculous for releasing two versions of the same game, and then has the audacity to release a third version that's only slightly different. Just read the second paragraph for yourself. PETA: "If there's one thing we're good at, it's rambling total nonsense."
Is that purple eggplant thing even a pokemon?
About par for the course with PETA.
I played the first one, sad thing was it was a well done game. Shame it had to be PETA's bullshit though...
Is that purple eggplant thing even a pokemon?
I'm pretty sure that's just a gumdrop.
Is that purple eggplant thing even a pokemon?
Looks like the thing from McDonald's
Yeah because when I am done with playing a game of Pokemon I want to torture animals then make them battle, then cook them when they fail.
I'm pretty sure that's just a gumdrop.
I think it's Grimace.
Is that purple eggplant thing even a pokemon?
that's Grimace you filthy plebian
At what audience are these games even aimed at?
23 year olds who watch Pokémon: facepunch users
Damn. After playing that I realized something. I could really go for some McDonalds.
that's Grimace you filthy plebian
:'(
Isn't Pokemon PETA-friendly I mean, I get the whole 'battle' thing might seem cruel but I always thought the point of their lore is encouraging you to bond with your Pokemon and always make sure they're healed and all. Also, you never are allowed to kill any, just knock them out. But they're fictional, so whatever.
If it makes PETA feel better, I shall press the B button whenever I eat at McDonalds, as to prevent any burgers evolving. And, um, no offense, but relying on Team Plasma for their animal liberation message is like relying on the Taliban for women's rights.
But they're fictional, so whatever.
They don't really care. They bitched about GTA V and the ability to hit deer on the road :v:

If they make a parody game for every of them that has friendly creatures, summons, familiar or straight out pet fighting for/with you, they have a long way to go
If pokemon came to the real world PETA, you'd put them in shelters then kill 97% of them.
I hope PETA realizes that Pokemon do eat other Pokemon in the wild.
At what audience are these games even aimed at?
Probably aimed at children, they're less resistant when obeying authority figures.
If pokemon came to the real world PETA, you'd put them in shelters then kill 97% of them.
Makes you wanna do the same to PeTA workers...
Makes me hate animals? Absolutely. Because when my Pokemon faint I definitely don't hate myself for making it happen.
If pokemon came to the real world PETA, you'd put them in shelters then kill 97% of them.
If pokemon were real, it would be legal for my pikachu to shock the fuck out of them via thunder/thunderbolt. I can't think of too many things more enjoyable than that.
"Chicken nuggets are like my family" "They could just slap a pickachu face on a pinball game and I'd buy it, oh wait they already did that" Oh my god lol
If pokemon came to the real world PETA, you'd put them in shelters then kill 97% of them.
PETA would be the Team Plasma of the real world.
I really want to just have like, a grill out side their headquarters, and just cook meet for all the people who walk by. Just handing out free meat outside the PeTA HQ.
Yeah because when I am done with playing a game of Pokemon I want to torture animals then make them battle, then cook them when they fail.
although to be fair that is basically Dwarf Fortress
PETA would be the Team Plasma of the real world.
Wasn't team plasma nintendo's defacto parody of PETA?
Not sure if PETA is blaming McDonalds customers for DDoSing their site or something. Oh boy, PETA members are attractive! I better stop eating meat so I can get an attractive girlfriend.
