Don't tell me they will be pulling the same shit as with saints row 3
God dammit.
Not surprising to say the least.
You weren't expecting this? I was, totally.
Aren't these just pre-order bonuses?
Aren't these just pre-order bonuses?
the president heads are
That Grass Roots pack is just awful
And it begins!
I will buy the DLC that can be compared to the shark gun etc. That one was awesome.
Think I'll just stick to the real DLC again i.e. the missions
3 dollars each for a bunch of trash. Great.
They didn't learn a damn thing did they Why couldn't they pack the clothes/cars DLC with the game itself, its severely lacking in both, as in 80% of them are from SRTT and they've just put them back in There isn't nearly enough new clothing to make most of it DLC
They didn't learn a damn thing did they
I think they did. If they're doing it again it must've been profitable enough last time.
this is the pre-order stuff, to make it available to the people that didn't pre-order because otherwise there's no way to get it
There's still going to be another 20 packs of on disk shit like 3 outfits a pack or 2 weapons
sr4 should've been an expansion pack, more than half the game is all the same shit from sr3, and now they start doing this shit unfuckingbelievable
I'll just wait for Full Package or whatever it's gonna be called this time.
I'll just wait for Full Package or whatever it's gonna be called this time.
Super not dangerous single wad edition
This is upsetting, in terms of gameplay they hit the nail on the head with SR 4, and now they're gonna screw the pooch with more DLC mother-fuckery. Here's hoping there's a "full-package" version later, I'll just buy that one
sr4 should've been an expansion pack, more than half the game is all the same shit from sr3, and now they start doing this shit unfuckingbelievable
The game is insanely fun, I finished the game in a solid 11 hour session for christ sake, pushing more hours in now for 100% save But honestly? Its the laziest fucking excuse for a sequel I've ever seen, the fact that you can take a screenshot in 3 that can be almost completely identical to 4 is just retarded "cyber steelport" is nothing more than a slapdash excuse to do less work and porting all the cars and clothes from 3 is even more excuse to do even less work with the customization I'd really like to see a complete list of 100% new clothes in 4 compared to 3, the list would be a quarter of the size and that is just embarrassing "but games re use assets all the time!" There's saving time on re modeling some small stuff nobody notices and then there's copy pasting the entire game and putting stickers on it, hoping we wouldn't notice As much as I am highly enjoying the game, its SR3.5, just as most people said, anybody who says otherwise is far too bias because this is just lazy work
wow spoiler alert: [sp]you don't have to fucking buy it!!![/sp] [editline]27th August 2013[/editline]
The game is insanely fun, I finished the game in a solid 11 hour session for christ sake, pushing more hours in now for 100% save But honestly? Its the laziest fucking excuse for a sequel I've ever seen, the fact that you can take a screenshot in 3 that can be almost completely identical to 4 is just retarded "cyber steelport" is nothing more than a slapdash excuse to do less work and porting all the cars and clothes from 3 is even more excuse to do even less work with the customization I'd really like to see a complete list of 100% new clothes in 4 compared to 3, the list would be a quarter of the size and that is just embarrassing "but games re use assets all the time!" A lot of work was put into remaking the buildings.
I'm all for fun, in the end fun is all that matters. But charging 50 dollars and then revving up the DLC train right after release isn't a good sign. I really want to play SR4 but there's no way I'm getting it without a sale.
Wow.....its only been a damn week, and they're already shoving out DLC? Volition....the fuck is wrong with you? This shit couldn't have been in the main game? For fucks sake! Focus on fixing your damn game before you monetize the shit out of it. Game has more crashing and framerate issues than I can shake a copy of FO:NV at. I mean, I get that they cut alot of corners because THQ was on its deathbed when this game was in development....but damn man. This just seems low.

I think it's fine when they reuse content such as clothing/hairstyles, as long as they at least update and add more to the said content that already exists. I'm pretty sure that they did this during the SR1-SR2 conversion, and that turned out fine.
Its still shitty old steelport, re modeled buildings or not its the same boring map from 3
didn't 2 do the same [editline]27th August 2013[/editline] I agree though, they should have chucked in SR2's map just for sandbox purposes and shit's and giggles along with SR3's
didn't 2 do the same [editline]27th August 2013[/editline] I agree though, they should have chucked in SR2's map just for sandbox purposes and shit's and giggles along with SR3's
No idea, never played SR1 If it is an exact copy paste that is pretty shitty but at least Stillwater had a lot of variety and secrets in the map, unlike Steelport which is just city + small buildings and a few tiny areas which are not small buildings like the suburb
2 changed around parts of the map and revamped the whole saints section to be an ultor controlled hood it also got rid of the giant mountain/lake (forgot which) that was the map boundary and it looked way better than 1 did
well to be fair i'm pretty certain SR4 Steelport also looks way better than SR3's, at least in terms of color and lighting
i really couldn't tell if it does or not maybe it does but it still feels like the same bland boring old city
yeah i'll give you that, definitely feels way more vertical than it used to be though imo
