• 3DS max trial ending early

Alrighty, here is my problem: I downloaded the trial from autodesks site a few days ago. I used it a little, and later reformatted to windows 7. (Had 3DS installed for about 5 days before doing so) Now I came to get the trial back yesterday (another 5 days or so after getting the new OS) to continue learning and whatnot, but it says that my trial has ended, and so demands an activation code to continue. Being a teenager just starting college, I don't necessarily have £3,500 lying around. Would any of you lovely people happen to know of anything that could cause this, or any possible way I might be able to continue? I don't see it usefull to post my specs, but if anyone has a startling revelation involving them, i'll type 'em out.
Can't you get a discount for being a student I see that students get a huge discount on these things
Don't use 3DS Max. There's no way to continue the trial (Unless you could do it by removing some magical registry key...)
Uhm, if you're taking a class that offers it, like mine did, you can get free access for a year for all their stuff by signing up with the education community - not sure if it's still going on.
Can't you get a discount for being a student I see that students get a huge discount on these things
This I thought students always gigantic discounts through the school, or at least some way where you pay like $100 a year for it.
Goto this link: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=10916796&siteID=123112 fill in the details and it should find a store for students. This is for students and teachers only.
Is that US only? I'll try that anyways, might be worth a look.
PM me with your email address and I'll sort you out.
I would try alternative animation programs. 3DS Max is vastly overrated, I would reccomend Blender, in all seriousness.
