As title says, how many PCs do the powernerds of Facepunch currently own?
I own three; my gaming desktop for.. Well, gaming; a hybrid notebook/powertablet for internet browsing, film watching, school and on-the-move games, and a old beater of a notebook for porn and... Nothing else. Just porn.
1
One that I actually use, but I do have a lot of old shitty PCs that have fallen into disuse
Just one.
2
One I use, and one I built from old parts lying around
gov-funded laptop, my own PC, family PC, two spares in the shed and one used for a MAME machine
6
2. Gaming Desktop and School laptop.
PC, ultrabook, and iPad.
We have a media PC (getting built), dads PC (old as hell Pentium 4), Beer PC, dads laptop, mums laptop, my old laptop, my 10y/o PC.
In my flat, a now grand total of 5, main desktop, laptop for when I take a dump or if I'm on the balcony or something, 2 x HTPC for emulation in the lounge, one is for PS1 and the second is for MAME, GB, GBA, N64. Then my final machine is a home server if they count.
Just the one
Four computers in the house, I own 2. One is a pathetic notebook that schools gave out for free, the other is a custom built gaming PC. The other computers are the 10 year old family PC and my grandmother's laptop.
My current gaming PC and my old one that's missing a bunch of parts.
I guess one and a half.
I mean I got my desktop computer and a shitload of old or broken parts and I got my TV screen.
But seeing as I don't even watch TV, I just linked it to my Computer and use it as my 2. Desktop
Shit's cash
My PC and my old laptop.
Got my gaming PC, my netbook, a gaming laptop (for when I take trips elsewhere), a separate PC for my sister, One for my dad and mum, and about two-dozen odd computers at the office downstairs, one to each employee.
Working PCs:
Gaming desktop, old Dell laptop, Cubietruck if it counts (Little embedded ARM board)
Missing/broken parts:
Old gaming desktop (PSU moved to new one), even older desktop (dead motherboard), even even older beige desktop (Dead mobo, dead psu, dead god knows what else)
My laptop, my desktop, an original asus transformer and a uni nexus 7.
3 broke ass computers, my computer and a school laptop
2.
My gaming desktop which I built myself, and my laptop.
2
Main tower and school laptop
2
I have one macbook pro 2011 13" that i use for surfing, movies, record music and currently (stand in for games) since my desktop pc´s motherboard died just a few weeks ago :(
one that works
one that i ganked for parts
4. One is my mother's old PC where the specs is good at its day, and I use it regularly, one is a laptop that is used for schoolwork, another is my brother's PC that was built at the same era as my mother's PC, and my mother's work PC which are built using gaming grade parts but was unused because of weird PSU issues
Note: My mother abandon all of her computers and she used a shitty HP laptops, for some reason all HP laptops always get slowed down after 1 year or so, my brother and I uses Asus laptops and it never slows down
Counting all of them:
1 - Current One For Gaming
2 - For Hosting Servers
3 - Laptop
4 - Laptop (Broken?)
5 - Laptop
6 - Laptop (M.I.A)
7 - Laptop (I ain't sure?)
In use, 3
Probably could have made a poll
1. Desktop
2. HTPC, I guess you could call it a steam box. I play games on my tv with it a lot.
3. Nice laptop
4. Crappy beater laptop for garage duty
currently, around 3.
A Thinkpad T430 for gaming, school use and dualbooting Ubuntu for fun.
A Thinkpad X60 (old) for testing out linux distros and porn. haven't installed anything besides opensuse on it, as of recent. that thing is resilient as shit, too. It was amazing how this computer with a modified graphics driver and some other mods was able to run TF2. (if you need the modified graphics driver, I can give a link. the gpu was a GMA950)
A Dell Latitude D630. probably my first good "gaming PC". I got it back in november of last year as an upgrade to the X60. It really is fantastic. a good GPU capable of running some great games and a good business form factor. it really made me happy, but the hard drive is going. :(
(had a desktop P4, which ran crysis 2 and others, but I prefer laptop. had a Dell XPS something from a friend, but it had more bugs than the amazon rainforest. had an Asus K52n, oh god what a pile of shit. latency spikes that would make you sick. it had nothing good going for it. it could barely run notepad.)
2 and one that fried by playing 1.6
That I actually use? 3
That work? 13
That doesn't work? 1 (Missing RAM sticks)
3. An useless mini-laptop, my laptop and my new PC.
