"To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada" Trudeau tweeted. Good guy Canada
Twitter's loving this.
I now want Canada as a major superpower.
I now want Canada as a major superpower.
I'm willing to accept our new maple syrup overlords over our current GOP backed Samin Naranja Mongoose.
I now want Canada as a major superpower.
I know it's a meme that Canada is perfect and all but honestly would anyone object to this
I know it's a meme that Canada is perfect and all but honestly would anyone object to this
I was not even memeing, I was being honest.
I worry as a Canadian that if Canada did become a superpower we'd ultimately end up more like America. Sometimes being smaller helps us keep things good.
I know it's a meme that Canada is perfect and all but honestly would anyone object to this
Canada become a superpower would lead it down the same road the USA went. Remember, the way to hell is paved with good intentions. And we've already seen the absolute evil both superpowers have done. (Yes, I realise the USA is a lesser evil... towards its own citizens. But remember, they did interfer with South America especially during the time of the Cold War).
Justin's a piece of shit but this is a step in the right direction
I've never actually seen a picture of Trudeau until now. The guy's a handsome sunnuvabitch.
I just hope Canada and Mexico understand and forgive us when this embarrassment leaves office
Thank God other countries can do what our failure of a figure can't do.
I worry as a Canadian that if Canada did become a superpower we'd ultimately end up more like America.
I've never actually seen a picture of Trudeau until now. all those free future voters
all those free future voters
I guess treating people with basic respect is just tryin to get free votes then?
Yo, Canada, we can swap this guy for May please.
I shudder to imagine what Canada's global reputation would look like today if we had re-elected Kittensweater Harper. [editline]28th January 2017[/editline]
Yo, Canada, we can swap this guy for May please.
We'll trade you for the Queen, we'd like to see her again before she goes. Like, for real, a significant portion of Canada is bonkers for the royals, moreso Diana (RIP) and HM than ears and the rowdy princes.
How does Trudeau expect to take in any refugees when Tim Hortons can't even get their coffee right.
How does Trudeau expect to take in any refugees when Tim Hortons can't even get their coffee right.
Are you kidding? Have you tried the dark roast stuff Tim's been running for like a year now? Fucking delicious.
Yo, Canada, we can swap this guy for May please.
Absolutely not
Are you kidding? Have you tried the dark roast stuff Tim's been running for like a year now? Fucking delicious.
"NEW!" Dark Roast Coffee (one year later)
"NEW!" Dark Roast Coffee (one year later)
it's still way better than their normal swill i'm a black coffee guy, it's drinkable where as their normal is not good
Isn't he the one who was spewing nonsense like "If you kill you enemies they win" or something?
Isn't he the one who was spewing nonsense like "If you kill you enemies they win" or something?
Not sure, got the context?
Isn't he the one who was spewing nonsense like "If you kill you enemies they win" or something?
Ah yes, this whole bullshit. It was taken out of context. He was referring to how if you take war over peace when it comes to people who wouldn't mind martyring , they will win because it just brings others to their cause. [editline]4[/editline] This should tell you that there's something fishy about that quote also I don't think that's a direct quote either. I can't even find the source, just conservative meme stuff
"Diversity is power" I WOULD agree IF these "diverse" individuals were also COMPETENT at more than disrespecting countries they come to.
"Diversity is power" I WOULD agree IF these "diverse" individuals were also COMPETENT at more than disrespecting countries they come to.
Listen. I live in a neighborhood that's 40% Muslim, all right? It's mostly Muslims who are involved in community groups, who are trying to work alongside police to keep our streets safe, who are eager to host community events to bring everyone together, who are helping our catholic community build their church. They're conservative, many of them are orthodox, but they have adopted Canadian ideals, and have a great respect for Canadian culture. I served for years on a residents' association board alongside such people, and I get incredibly angry when idiots run their mouths on things they have no idea about. What proof have you that most immigrants disrespect the countries they come to, you bigoted fool? I'm a first generation immigrant myself, and I am proud to be Canadian.
