In case you guys didn't hear, the semi-hyped new DAW Bitwig's release date was finally announced a few years after we originally heard of this DAW. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2014/01/22/bitwig-studio-launches-march-26-priced-at-399/#more-54431 I have been watching this DAW off and on for a little over a year and a half now and I've always been intrigued, it seems to have a lot of cool features but at the same time it looks like a much prettier version of Ableton. They will be releasing a demo after launch and I'll certainly try it out, hopefully it will justify it's $399 price tag. The fact that it's available on Linux will be a warm welcome. The idea of having instrument and audio clips in the same track is interesting too, though it's pretty obvious this DAW is geared mostly towards electronic artists. It's good to see another DAW join the field at least, I'm always open to more options.
