Yeah, so new computer I got runs slow sometimes when I install a game and have firefox and a few other programs up. It goes up to 95% no higher. I checked Task manager after a long slow battle to get it open during the game installation and all the process weren't using more than 100mb.
I tried exiting everything except the game installation and it still was at 95%. After the installation I'm getting 76% usage which is weird because I usually on get around 1.5GB used when just browsing the web(no gaming).
I have 4GB

Scan for virus/spyware. Update drivers, turn it off and let it sit off for awhile. Check to make sure you dont have any corupted files anywhere. What type of CPU do you have, and what board??

Try removing programs you dont use much anymore, and go into task manager. And close any proccesses that are using more then 6%(Besides system idle process)
