Finally. Let's get this everywhere else, thanks.
They're living in a seaside city that's below sea level, but they're still smarter than the Texas Board of Education.
Fuck yeah. Down with the christian disease! Go free thinking and progress!
Common sense isn't common in the South it seems.
This is wonderful to see. It's like they actually understand there's something behind scientific methods.

Free thinking and progress sound like positive things if you ask me. If I read your sarcasm correctly that is.

I would imagine he's taking the piss out of people who sit there screaming about how religion caused every problem in the world.

What kind of terrible school system teaches "beliefs" about the origin of life and the universe? Was it part of a historical or literature context?
God forbid people learn culture or anything
Sure but not in a science class discussing the origin of the universe.
I'm all for teaching kids stuff like creationism as part of religious studies and such but it has absolutely 0 place in stuff like science-related classes.

And so long as the teachers in religious studies do not claim that what they teach is as valid as that taught in a science classroom
Good job New Orleans. All you have to do now is establish an acceptable public school system.
