No files are cached or stored on the MusicLemon servers, all data comes from various different sources on the internet. Do not download copyrighted material without permission. MusicLemon is a search engine designed for LEGAL entertainment purposes only. MusicLemon.com is NOT intended for downloading songs illegally.
Now that the legality is out of the way, the website is for downloading legal, drm-free music. There are plenty of popular songs available though. So what are you waiting for?! This is going to be so abused. In fact I found an entire album of my favorite band on there :( Ok I have found music from all of my favorite bands... and they aren't exactly mainstream... Fucking pirates.

This won't help if you don't listen to main stream bands.
This is going to be so abused. In fact I found an entire album of my favorite band on there :(
email and get it removed. the website is NOT intended for illegalities.
email and get it removed. the website is NOT intended for illegalities.
Dude, on the front page the #1 song on the site is some thing by lady gaga, that sure as hell isn't legal. If they really gave a shit it wouldn't be able to accumulate that many downloads, let alone appear on the front page.
email and get it removed. the website is NOT intended for illegalities.
They'll probably not remove it unless they're contacted by the copyright holder. Also, thanks for the link.
They'll probably not remove it unless they're contacted by the copyright holder.
I've had songs removed before. And if you feel better about it, email the riaa :v

http://www.musiclemon.com/
U'm I'm pretty sure by legal they mean their ass is covered, in the same way that piratebay is legal because they don't actualyl host the data. Otherwise if there was perfectly legal hosts of music out there then other sites would link to them too.

Awesome site, Thanks Brah!
You're very welcome Kal.
I believe you are horribly mistaken. This site doesn't tell you it's legal to download popular songs. It's NOT intended for popular songs, and as the site says, its purpose is NOT downloading copyrighted music, and most of the music on that site (Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Metallica etc) is copyrighted and it's still illegal to download them.
snip, was probably warez.
I'm trying to see how this isn't illegal
They even have lots of tunes from High Contrast. Which is definately not mainstream and is my favorite DnB artist ever. God I hope he is still earning money for his work.
1. Since it only stores links to those torrents it doesn't actually host them , this makes it "legal" 2. "Do not download copyrighted material without permission" means that there may be copyrighted material , but you don't have to download them or else you're breaking the rules All torrents have that shitty tricky disclaimer on their site, it's to prevent companies from saying "omg you're hosting our copyrighted files!!" cause they can answer that they're not hosting any of the files but just linking them, and also that they clearly state to users to NOt to download illegal files
So xerios3, what you're saying, is that the site is legal?
Site is, most of its content is not
Nobody cares if you download a few gigs of music because theres so much traffic on the internet now the only things that get noticed are the unusually high things, they only care if its like 100's per day, everyday. So download away. Don't expect the coppers at your door anytime soon.
Oh no! DOWNLOADING MUSIC? Brb guys FBI is knocking on my door I'm fucked
I either use www.airmp3.net for one or two songs, and a torrent from isohunt for a whole album (that is, if i'm cheap/cannot find it in the stores) Airmp3.net is a great site. Once you learn how to use it properly, you can get tons of songs. Edit: After actually reading the quoted part, this seems exactly like airmp3.net... Though this one might be better, because some of the ones at airmp3.net are random html files and crap, and some don't even work.
Just like Prodigy said, it won't hurt to download music from the internet even though it's considered illegal If you have some money to waste then go buy a CD from an artist you like, to show them your support... unless it's one of those popular artists (like for example Lady Gaga) , just fuck them, they get enough money from their mindless fans =P
i'll stick with spotify thanks

I buy albums from smalltime artists who NEED the money.
