So my network has two computers on it, connected by a wired router. One computer has windows 7, the other XP. The computer with XP's internet seems to be working just perfectly, whereas the windows 7 computer is acting pretty strangly....
Everytime the computer turns on, it says limited to no connectivity, so i troubleshoot, and it says nothing wrong. The first couple times it showed two connections, so i disabled the server connection and re-enabled it, and now there shows only one connection, with the internet successfully connected. Next time the computer shuts off and on, theres only one connection, and theres limited to no connectivity again. So i decide to disable and re-enable the connection. The computer shows that it's connected to the internet; problem is, only for about half of a minute, and it doesnt connect really to the internet. Ive tried disabling and re-enabling again with the same, unsuccessfl results. so now i have one connection that still doesnt work even after restart/ unplug and replug of everything, etc. What's up with my computer? I dont think its a computer problem, just some wierd issue with 7. Does anyone know whats up with my computer? There doesnt seem to be a problem with the xp one at all....

Okay, so an update on the problem: I unplugged it from my wired router into the main modem, and i get internet just fine. But why the fuck is this happening? Is my wired router shot? I tried taking the ethernet cable and moving it to different ports but still no internet connection on my windows 7 computer! Is there anyway my windows 7 computer can connect to the wired router again?
