Eh, Warthunder does tanks a thousand times better. I played a metric ass ton of World of Tanks. In comparison to War Thunder it doesn't even come close.
I love both games. War Thunder does the mechanics and realism far, far better, however, it's really grindy and variety is pretty low. It lacks the jump in, kill shit feel of WoT. Also, wot's effects and sound are god tier. WoT seems like it gives you a more personal connection to your vehicles. I can't put my finger on it but wot just feels better than WT.

They just felt too static and dull. Variation is nice but I just didn't enjoy them. Not to even mention the problems that ruined all the fun in regards to Arty Tanks. (Point and Click adventure tanks as I called them) Still to each their own tastes. WoT was STUPIDLY grindy also, plus the Gold ammo was a terrible design choice in my opinion. I know I'll never ever be going back to it.

For one it doesn't make sense for tanks to have health and have penetration and accuracy near completely random. Grinded to end-game in WOT. Wasn't nearly as fun as war thunder. Probably because l can lose a round and not lose 5 previous' rounds profit in the process [editline]29th March 2016[/editline] In WOT I feel like I'm playing with plastic toy models rather than functioning vehicles

WoT's never gave any real...movement or feedback when driving and fighting the tanks, they felt so...liveless. WarThunder you can actually feel the way the tank behaves to a degree. Plus you don't have to deal with STUPID health bars and horrid RNGesus to such a massive degree. WarThunder literally is the be all and end all when it comes to Free To Play Online tank battle simulator. Outside of games like T-72 Iron Warrior and the likes.
