I've always liked pirates so I quite like this idea.
Awwwwww yeah
Why are you rating dumb for new content? Seriously?
Love that it's coming so soon!

Because DLC should be on the disc, too expensive, shows that Gearbox is the devil, etc. etc.
People may also still be mad about the MLP thing.
Can't even play the base game due to stuttering, can only play offline without wireless adapter and by no means can I go wired :( I refuse to play this solo.

If this DLC is as good as DLC in BL1, then it is really good and big and totally worth the cash.
I really need to get that season pass. But I also want dishonoured really badly. And unfortunately, I don't have enough money for either at the moment
Jesus christ that was quick. I haven't even gotten my Mechromancer to lvl 10 yet. Oh well, if its anything like the Borderlands 1 DLC, this will be a buy.
Not sure whether to get the season pass now or wait till christmas, where the holy wallet taking sales begin

Do tell how to add content made AFTER THE GAME WAS FINISHED is suppose to be magically imprinted onto the disk.

what MLP thing?
Basically the new Mechromancer character DLC has a few barely noticeable MLP references and some people from both sides are getting spergy about it
what MLP thing?
This.
Did I miss something? Is there a MLP reference in the game?
Oh wow posted at the same time as the answer.

So you know how gearbox is legendary for their
subtle
humor?
Well they took pretty much 10 skillsets for that new mechomancer or something, and basically made them all MLP references.
I love it when a DLC gets announced like, a week before it comes out. No annoying long waits or anything. Like ME3's multiplayer stuff, they reveal it the week before.

Well, I guess since the skills are named with the characters in mind, I don't really see a problem in that, I don't find it hard to believe that the mechromancer would watch MLP, what with her being just a kid(or at least looking and sounding like one, don't know her age).

Anyone who is actually mad about MLP and other internet pop culture references is a whiny shit that couldn't just ignore it in the first place.
Seriously. Gearbox never forced us to pay attention to those things. They let us focus on the important stuff that we should focus on in the game.

I'm not exactly mad about MLP references in a young female character, I'm just angry they have the worst writing staff I've ever seen, and they can't make a joke that isn't blasted right in your face. Take one of the quests where you need to find a new name for those bullymongs, instead of doing the unimaginable and not making it a humorous quest, or at least making a good joke about it, they end up making you call them bonerfarts. That's not humor. And if they've got their heart set on pleasing every group there is, without realizing that everyone hates everyone else on the internet, they could at least make jokes that only that group would recognize without having to annoy literally everyone else.
So yes, they do force you to pay attention to those things, they might as well hold a sign up to you saying ITS A REFERENCE, GET IT?

No they don't and when the writing is SUPPOSED TO BE CENTERED ON POP CULTURE then it makes sense for them to put in a lot of references to things.

Like how you can go through the whole game without realizing that[sp]the Marcus-Vishnu statue can give you guns if you appease it Temple of Doom style,[/sp]or how they never actually point out during the feud quest that[sp]you have to follow what is essentially a goddamn leprechaun and steal his hidden treasure.[/sp]
And even besides that, I personally didn't realize that the[sp]Top Gun[/sp]sidequest was referencing anything until people started talking about it since I haven't actually watched it. Just thought that it was Psychos being Psychos again.

it's like 7 if you look at it generously

Dishonored. Holy crap, great game from what I've played.
only bad writing in BL2 is claptrap
absolutely horrendous
If this DLC is as good as DLC in BL1, then it is really good and big and totally worth the cash.
Oh you must have misunderstood me. I was talking about possible reasons why it was getting so many dumbs. That's not actually my opinion. Personally, I'm pretty stoked about the new DLC.
woops got carried away and bought the season pass, WHAT A SHAME
